  1. I've seen the film, and although I liked the idea of another main character showing some affection towards another pony (as it'd hopefully expand upon her character a fair bit), I hated the execution. In general, I hate the "love at first sight" love story cliche as it proves just how little the writer knows about romance. Still, if my short-lived relationship with that toast I had for breakfast today is a better love story (albeit it ended in tragedy for the toast) than Twilight, I guess it sorta makes sense.

  3. I have to agree with the first part of that post. The second is debatable because EVERYTHING is a better love story than twilight.

  6. Ah, yes, that. Well, as they say, Curiosity killed the cat. That's why it's hiding on Mars.
  7. I see you are playing what appears to be solitare on that most magnificent monitor, Mr. Corgi, but alas, no points.

  11. I wouldn't press it. Because the fandom equestria is an inconsistent clustereff which can't decide whether it's a wasteland or a psychotic place full of obsessed ponies and strange things... ... dang, now I wanna press it.
  12. Hey, the universe is banned.
  13. True. The person below me believes the original of The Thing is better than the remake.
  14. False Not really, I just like the way how jaunty it is despite the fact it deals with a psychotic subject. The person below me has never seen Oldboy.
  15. False. The user below thinks that is the most inspirational song ever

  20. Distance can easily overcome your puny explosion. About a galaxy's worth should do.
  21. Competition is the fastest way to advance, but it is often dangerous and reckless, leading to it being tiring for both sides. Cooperation is not the fastest way to advance, but it is the safest and most secure if a bit slow. It's also the best for improving existant technology, whereas competition is mostly about having the biggest and newest, with little respect to thing such as safety and reliability.
  22. About the time of the renneisance, a new way of manufacturing goods had appeared in the world, the Manufactory. Prior to that, it was done by craftsmen in their workshops, where each craftsman worked on one item from start to finish, each step strictly regulated by their respective Guild. Now, in a Manufactory, one person only worked on one part of the final item, which sped up the process immensely and made goods much cheaper. When the industrial revolution kicked off, the manufacturies began making use of machines and their name had been shortened to merely "factory". This isn't 100% accurate (as any historian will point out) but it is, from what I understand, what a manufactory is.
