I love it! The look like they were made from bits of sheet metal salvaged from a junk yard just fits the idea of a Kerbal rocket in my mind. Kinda like a super low-tech version of the Pheonix from Star Trek.

Mine is just a mostly standard design, but I did get some ridiculous speed off it. Here's the last minute or so of a video of it. Also, love the clip of the SS Lowest Bidder, especially the shots of the pilot's expressions.
