  1. The issue is that RO isn't updated yet, sometime this afternoon. And me & Nathan have been playing hot potato with the WAC parts. The third one might be because you can't the .kept file in your game data folder? Make sure to not keep any zips or arj files in your installation folder.
  2. Uhm, are you using the latest file? I just double checked and that's been fixed. Are you using MS19b files? And are you using the latest RO/RSS updates, which might have been released overnight?

  5. True, but I rather not people have to grind earth in order to progress. The initial point of RPL was to remove the grind aspect of getting science. But don't you people worry, another objective of RPL is to provide a challenge! So as the experiments populate the nodes, we'll be able to fine tune difficulty. I'll even put up a poll so we can get an idea of how people perceive the difficulty. But we aren't there yet!
  6. Balance at this stage is still highly arbitrary, so it's not going to have any impacts or is it representative of the final product. But that's a cool fix!

  10. We shall see, but I think the same problem existed in that as well. Although with the new dynamic description boxes... hmm... Yeah, might work! I'll redo description in another hotfix though, plowing through the remaining things.
  11. Howdy! With the hotfix, most of this stuff is history. (coming today most likely) But for the VAB information. I'm actually stuck with some stupid problems of description lenght/size. I tried to put more info in the research nodes, but someone pointed out that my long winded description spills out of the boxes. D: Going to have to find a clever fix for that one I'm afraid.
  12. What a night! Had an excessively productive chat session with NathanKell! Went over the fix list, so stuff like the patch cfg files, the tech levels, the width of fairings/tanks. All sorted! Got a few more things I need to work on/fix, but the list grows short! I'm quite confident I'll have the hotfix ready to fire come Sunday! Hang in there everyone,
  13. Yes, and no. Yes because it's not dependent on any mod per say to 'work', except the RPL pluging & tree. But with a stock setup of the planets/moons, you'll get weird progression. Like Minmus is Saturn I think. Stuff like that.
  14. We've already tried to do a pack with the cooperation of many mod authors, but the uneven progress of each mod makes it a huge pain to maintain. It's not worth it. There are mod packagers that have popped up a while back, where you could select the mods you want and it would download them etc. I'm a bit of a manual installation type of person, so I'm not that keen in investigating those options.

  16. /dances Awesome my friend! I'm sick as a dog this morning, but I think it's clearing up. Who the hell wants to be sick for the weekend. And as for the plane experiments, shouldn't 'too' hard to make custom modules for that. I'll give it a shot once MS19 is ironed out good and proper!

  18. Hmmm, what does a 1,300kg pizza even look like!? O_O And how much would it cost to be delivered in a craft like that. LOL Imagine the oven... Or perhaps you could put Jets in a strategic circle and have them hit their engines towards the giant mass of pizza.
  19. Not sure if anyone ever answered you. But yes, you select the engine on your craft, go to the action config screen. And you'll see a little grey box with info about Real Fuels in it. Once I fix the tech levels they should be limited to the nodes you've researched in the RPL tech tree. Feel free to ask other questions!
  20. I think I'll also make an installation video to get RPL to RSS/RO working condition. The madness must stop! Also, good news! Brooklyn666 & RedV8ar's patches will be integrated into the RO package. So a little less madness. (Not sure when NathanKell will have time to do this though, just a thing to look forward to!)
  21. Those are definitely some really interesting ideas, but considering my background and limited time. I want to push from Bumper on up first. Once I reach a beta release, then things might have stabilized enough to make some last design decisions about sciene & planes. But please don't hold your breath on this, there is miles and miles of things to do for RPL to get it to Beta even just focusing on earth sub-orbitals and up. That's a sweet list though!
  22. Actually MS18 is now part of the nether. When I published MS19 I had to save over the public slot. (I have 1 dev slot (private) and 1 public slot (release)) Give it some time, I'll include alternate experiments and there is branching past earth. Go for more unmanned, or go manned earlier on. etc. The vast array of issues I failed to foresee, and the still lacking number of experiments makes it seem more linear than it will end up being.
