  1. Yet another game that exits early access because the dev felt like it, as opposed to being an actual 1.0
  2. Bodies without atmospheres make no sense. Moons make no sense. Mk2 cockpits make no sense. For heaven's sake, open you mind man
  3. That's actually very routine at all hospitals
  4. they're great for... staying put..... ok i'm sorry i'll go now...
  5. definitely running into bugs here and there, anyone else find more bugs than usual?
  6. I must apologize to SQUAD. Lately I've been pretty negative about the outlook of this game, particularly regarding realism features and UI. I've been playing 0.90 and there have been TONS of improvement that were kept under wraps, and their silence was interpreted by me as ignoring us. So again, SQUAD, I'm sorry. I pledge to shut the hell up regarding speculations of the direction of this game. Thanks!
  7. Just wen to the mun and back on Tier 2 parts and Tier 1 VAB. Feelin great
  8. What a metric ton of fun this update is I am however noticing stutter when switching back to the vessel from map view in LKO, which has never happened to me previously in my souped up desktop
  9. KSP 0.9 AND Elite:Dangerous released in the same 24-hour span?!?! Goodbye real-world, hello SPACE
  10. they even got the weird eyes correct!
  11. What do we think the over-under is for the number of releases after 0.9 before hitting the big one-oh?
  12. How very intriguing! I haven't noticed it but I haven't looked carefully; time to check!
  13. I'm not confused, because it's not logic. Again, I never said they're not looking for feedback nor did I say they're not seeking to make changes. I'd ask that you examine my statement a bit more carefully prior to responding. And if it's in the debug menu, it's not "out of the way of everyone except everyone currently seeking this information." It's out of the way of everyone unless they know of the debug menu and also are seeking that checkbox out.
  14. By this logic nobody has to do anything. That they're looking for feedback is great. That they need feedback for such an obvious feature is not. Currently the only way for you to know what the biomes are through internet searches or by directly flying over them, both are unsatisfactory especially in light of Fine Prints becoming stock and with it the need to go to specific biomes. BTW, your last sentence has exactly been the attitude with biomes thusfar, and hiding them in the debug menu that most players likely don't know about amounts to the same thing.
  15. The fact that they would hide this in the debug menu to start with makes me wonder about their vision for a final UI, which as it is is quite limited and unsatisfactory
  16. it needs to be a toggle-able overlay when in orbit over the body, even if it's only the single biome in question as it pertains to a contract
  17. Maybe you just leave the CSM passively orbiting, but there's a reason why they were called CSM pilots in the real thing. Moreover, what's the point of leaving an engineer, the sole purpose of which would be to do things like fix rover wheels or landing legs (i.e. stuff needed at landing site) in the CSM?
  18. i hope you can give kerbals multiple professions, particularly pilot - otherwise apollo-style missions could never have all three specialists on board as you'd need a pilot in the csm as well as the lm. i also really liked the barns, dunno why people were so pissed about it...
  19. morality seems like a pretty heavy handed concept to bring into a lego spaceship building game
  20. not only can you get to duna in one launch, you can even do it in an ssto!
  21. dear lord you'd think by some people's reactions here that the presence or absence of cargo bays is going to decide the fate of the geopolitical balance in the middle east and eastern europe
  22. thank god it looks like they've finally done away with offset attach points for the mk3 parts
