Any mods that undo Squad's throttle fix?
Ravyne replied to AdmiralTigerclaw's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I'm pretty sure it was done so people could get into the game easier. Another victory for Little Timmy, I suppose. -
Any mods that undo Squad's throttle fix?
Ravyne replied to AdmiralTigerclaw's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I think this was brought up before and the answer is 'no'. -
"lowers the tone of the forum"? That's...pretty impressively pretentious. Let people have their fun, ignore it if you don't like it.
-
Honestly, you could qualify anything at all as 'cheating'. Reaction wheels make it easier to maneuver! Solar panels let you regenerate electrical power! Engines let you go fast! So really, this is moot.

[WIP] Planet Randomizer 0.2.4 (2014-09-21)
Ravyne replied to metaphor's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Downloaded this the other day, and currently testing it - the only thing I can say is that it would be very nice to be able to rerandomize the planet positions without quitting out and starting a whole new save every time until we get one we like. -
If you could only install 3 KSP mods... which 3 would it be?
Ravyne replied to Frank_G's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Mechjeb, KSP Interstellar, and KW Rocketry for me. -
Devnote Tuesdays: The Temporary "First Contract Edition" Thread
Ravyne replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
Heh, 64 bit is announced after a modder enables it. The irony. Also, I'd like to see word from devs on whither or not we're going to have to re-purchase KSP to get access to x64 bit. This is concerning. -
Divinity II, Call Of Juarez - Gunslinger, Startopia, Sid Meier's Pirates!, the Resident Evil 4 remake, and most of the Borderlands 2 DLC. Still sitting on some money in case anything else goes on flash sale. Aww yiss.
-
A modder hacked in the 64-bit version to work. The whole thread can be found here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/82118-KSP-64bits-on-Windows-%28this-time-it-s-not-a-request%29

[WIP] ELEMENT K - Sounds and Visual FX Overhaul (early development)
Ravyne replied to Shaun's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
RIP Headphone users. I dunno if it's the video's sound but my ears are ringing after that video. Perhaps a lower volume would we wise. -
Slight update on this. I let it go for some time when sending a report, and eventually it kicked to a 504 error. I hope this helps.
-
I'd be into Socialist 06 and Futurist 11 if you wouldn't mind.
-
Shame they're so fragile.
-
9/10 I've seen a lot of your posts and input around.
-
I shiver considering I'm going to end up having to do this since my goal is to completely exhaust all science. I just keep putting it off. Considering the infinite science, though, wouldn't it be fair to just considering doing one of each class and call it tapped?
-
Isn't posting a Gamedata folder for download against the TOS?
-
I want every single point of science I can get from the stock Kerbin system. Then do it for every other PlanetFactory system. Every sweet, delicious point.

I realized the faint pun in the subject as I was typing it. Anyhow, whenever I try to report a post, I can enter the reason and hit submit, but it never seems to do anything. Just endless loading. This is happening on Google Chrome Version 35.0.1916.153 m, with all addons disabled as well.

Mod Testing for 64-bit KSP (UNOFFICIAL VERSION)
Ravyne replied to mythic_fci's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Interesting, it works flawlessly for me. Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, SCANSat, and RasterPropMonitor work, this I know. -
It is optional. You don't have to use Curse to download the mod, as far as I am aware.

The Official Kerbin Cup Tournament Thread - Final Entries Posted
Ravyne replied to Rowsdower's topic in KSP1 Discussion
What stops people from just using it anywhere they like? Genuine curiosity, here. -
It looks more like a social/community award than anything parts-wise. If it was in the game, it wouldn't have been announced by Rowsdower.

KSP 64bits on Windows (this time, it's not a request)
Ravyne replied to Lilleman's topic in KSP1 Discussion
7-zip is free to download. http://bit.ly/HEhw2w
