  1. One way is to use TweakableEverything. With this you'll get "reverse motor" option for wheels. @TheXRuler was speaking about this.

  3. Also there may be no need in travaling to other Planets to mine ore... some good deposit can be available on Kerbin. But building a mining base there would require a whole fleet of planes and track to deliver mining modules and empty tanks to the spot.
  4. One option I can think of: struts from KAS, which you can attach and connect in space.
  5. Empty size is nothing, more impotant awesomeness/meter^2 and in this case KSP isn't the greatest.
  6. No problems for crafts without fuel lines. Personaly I've never tried to attach fuel line to it so didn't know about such issue.

I don't use: - stock adapters and nosecones - too heavy, can't hold fuel, procedural parts instead - most of fuel tanks - part count is lower with procedural parts - radial white engine - Structural Fuselage parts (procedural parts instead) - wings, except tails - B9 procedural wings is everithing what I desire in theis case - lower part count and better in everything
  10. If you're ok with programming - install RemoeTech2 and kOS. Also DRE and LifeSupport. And from this point launch all crafts using only written kOS scripts, no MJ2, manual control only in critical situations when autimation fails. *manual control only when kerbals in craft.

  12. Have no idea about bearing, but have you searched for ksp helicopters? Existed designs could give you a push in the right direction... Just some of all that google found.

  16. Install BahamutoD's Armory with missiles and guns. And go into interplanetary war. Or, at least, try this wonderful mod with automatical turrets which would fire into your plaine and missiles tricked by countermeasure flares.
  17. There is no need to crash the game when one can go to space center and load quicksave from menu. The game loads persistent save file even if it crashes.
  18. Just some math... on my PC. A year on 100'000 warp it's ~90 seconds. I can agree that people can get bored during this time, especially if they warp for several years, but loading crafts to launchpad sometimes takes 30 seconds or so on my PC.
  19. One of variants, that were mention before is the trajectory of reentering. In some cases I can have AP 100 and Pe 50 and such trajectory will differently slow you enough. But maybe you was doing this... Who knows without number from you it's just an idea.

  21. After I've started to use B9's procedural wings I've stopped hoping for them from SQUAD, because they really do what I need and I doubt that that SQUAD could've done better.
  22. the poll should have two sets of options, One for FAR, another for stock. I'm using FAR and start turning at 0-1 km on 1-5 degrees depending on the rocket.
  23. What do you mean under "other means"? Because if I follow wikipedia's description: Where rocket engine is So, ION drivers, RCS and kerbal's jet packs can be counted as "rockets assistance". Even a jet with stored air can be counted as rocket, based on wikipedia's description.
