Yes, actually I was thinking about adding a bonus for adding a mod that makes the game harder. I probably will add some challenges based on it too.

The Hard Challenge- Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to complete the challenges below in a quick manner ON HARD MODE. Scoring- The challenges each have a score that you receive for completing them. This is multiplied by the multiplier once you are done with the challenge. Highest score wins. Can only complete a challenge once. Multipliers added together THEN multiplied. Screenshots necessary. Challenges- Orbit! Achieve a stable orbit. (10 pts) Take me to the Mun. Achieve lunar orbit.(25 pts) The Big Mint. Orbit Minmus (25 pts) Live to die another day. Complete the challenges shown above without killing or stranding a single kerbal (30 pts). Its Mun time! Land on the Mun (38 pts) Not very yummy... Land on Minmus (35 pts) Expert Lander. Do not kill or strand a single Kerbal while completing the challenges above. (40 pts) Lots o' rocks. Capture and asteroid. (45 pts) Aliens! Land on another planet (60 pts) Entirely inhabited by robots... Send a rover to Duna (65 pts) Some good old fun! Land a rover on the Mun or Minmus (45 pts) Driving all day long. Send a rover to another planet other then Duna. (65 pts) Manned mission. Send a Kerbal to another planet and return. (75 pts) Tylo. Land on Tylo (100 pts) Savior. Do not kill or strand a single Kerbal throughout this entire challenge. (125 pts) Expert. Complete every challenge. (200 pts) Create a space station. Create a space station. (30 pts) Multipliers- Time- Time taken under 5 years X2 Time taken under 4 years X3 Time taken under 3 years X4 Time taken under 2 years x5 Challenges- Complete Expert Challenge- X2 Complete Savior Challenge- X2 Misc- Complete Tech Tree-X2 Play with Realism overhaul X3 Play with Real Solar System mod X3 ***If you want me to add something in the misc section, tell me in the comments!!!*** Rules- This works in large part on an honor system. Standard rules apply. Show me screenshots for proof. Use only required and allowed mods. Use only hard mode. Required mods- Remote Tech TAC life support DRE FAR Allowed mods- Most non-game changing mods (Engineer redux, Kerbal alarm clock, etc...) No part mods. Ask me if you are unsure. Mods that make the game harder in any way (RSS, Realism overhaul, etc...) Well guys, have fun. I am about to start the challenge myself. If you want me to add something tell me in the comments. The biggest times I save/load would be docking because if I fail that I don't feel like rendezvousing again. Other then that I generally just continue, unless it was the games fault... -
Next chapter will be tomorrow. I was away from home unexpectedly for a few days...

Chapter 2 Just days before Spector 2 launched, Bob came down with a kold so Jebediah had to go along with Bill. After this mission, Bob was feeling quite a bit better and, since he had never been to space, decided to do something big, to get his name spread. He asked if he could go to the mun and, after long and hard thinking, K.A.S.P allowed him to go. But, they said that he had to go with Rodney Kerman. The first rocket of the new series Atan was made. The first Atan rocket was actually special because, once in orbit around the mun, a kethane probe is released and will scan for kethane on the mun as the Atan lander lands. Unfortunately, K.A.S.P left out landing legs AND parachutes so Bill and Rodney had to wait for a ride to come get them and their science. The new series of rendezvous rockets was created. Treton. Bill and Rodney are home! They now await their next mission, whatever that may be. End of chapter 2

Hey guys, I just thought I would try my hand at making a chapter or two on my career mode and see how it works out. If it is ok, I will write another. Now keep in mind That I have never even attempted this so I may not be the best. Also, Be aware that I will try to make my rockets realistic, but sometimes I will fail at that. I will also use the rules I make up. If I say that I am not allowed to do something, I wont do it. As I use mods, I will post them below. Mods used so far: procedural fairings Radish command pod Chapter 1 One day, Jebediah saw an ad in the newspaper saying "astronauts wanted" he read on and discovered that the Kerbal Aeronautics and Space program (K.A.S.P) was hiring astronauts to fly the first rocket ever built, the zen 1. He ran over to Bill and Bobs house and told them that K.A.S.P was hiring (All 3 of them were pilots). Bill and Bob were not as enthusiastic about joining but Jeb had the convinced that they would love it, so they all signed up to be enlisted. After a week or so of testing their skills, K.A.S.P offered Jeb, Bill, and Bob a position as astronauts. Jeb was chosen to fly the first rocket, Zen 1. And Bill was chosen to fly Zen 2 Jebediah then prepared to go on the next mission which he would attempt to orbit the mun. This mission was Spector 1! Jeb had a good run! Now in chapter 2, Bob is going to try to orbit minmus End of Chapter 1

My first station. It could hold 16 kerbals and contained a science module. The 4 modules are as follows: science module, 2 solar panel modules, and habitat module. Also, I only used mechjeb for the specs. -
Kethane Refine Colony- The Goal: Make a kethane mining station on another celestial body with a kethane storage/refueling station in orbit around the planet or moon. Rules: You can use mods other than Kethane but you will be put on the "modded" leaderboard. Mods not allowed: Hyperedit. Colony must be able to mine and refine Kethane. If you make a space station around the body which your Kethane mining colony is on, it must be able to refine Kethane and store fuel. Colony must consist of at least 5 modules and 7 Kerbals Space station must consist of at least 4 modules and 5 Kerbals Must provide screenshot proof (cant have videos internet is too bad) Scoring: -10 points if you use Mechjeb although it is allowed +10 points for colony on Mun +15 points for colony on Minmus +40 points for colony on Ike +45 points for colony on Duna +50 points for colony on Eve +55 points for colony on Gilly +65 points for colony on Moho +70 points for colony on Dres +80 points for colony on Laythe +80 points for colony on Pol +80 points for colony on Val +80 points for colony on Bop +90 points for colony on Tylo +25 points for space station consisting of at least 4 modules and 5 kerbals. Each other module adds 10 points +5 points for every Kerbal on the station or colony that you do not need to have. +10 points for every module on the colony that you do not have to have (5) Leaderboard (stock other than Kethane) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Leaderboard (modded) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Have fun, and tell me if I need to change anything. BTW I will post my entry when I'm done

I usually try for a orbit around the mun after orbiting kerbin. My next flight is usually to land on it. -

no mechjeb is not allowed. You can use it to see delta v and other things like that but not to autopilot a ship -

well... your score would be -103 That does put you in first as you are currently the only one who has done the challenge. However if you could land on the mun or even Duna it would really help your score. -

ok I am going to add a little more specific detail on the ion engines and how to get the points but to answer your question, yes you need to land on the body to get the points. You also have to use 1 ship to land on as many bodies as possible without refueling. And yes you can you jet engines. -

Yeah I cant wait till ARM, I love ion's isp but it is so weak -
Smallest rocket challenge: The goal is to build a rocket with the least amount of mass possible and take it to other celestial bodies without refueling and return safely. Rules: No mods except for the kind that don't add parts or change gameplay such as kerbal alarm clock unless you want to go in the "modded" leaderboard. Still no hyperedit or mods like that. Mechjeb is allowed in the modded leaderboard No cheating The mass is how much how much mass at lift off not how much it ways when it gets to the other body For getting Ion engine bonus you must use them. To get the points for a planet/moon you have to land on it and return. Use only 1 ship for going to as many planets as you can. No refueling. Scoring: -2 per ton +2 per kerbal on board +10 if flag is planted +15 if uses is ion +60 for moho +20 for Mun +20 for Minimus +30 for Gilly +75 for Eve +45 for dres +35 for Ike +50 for Duna +75 for laythe +50 for Pol +30 for Bop +50 for Vall +70 for Tylo +90 for Eeloo More info: I need screenshots for proof (cant have videos my internet is too bad) The rockets can be probes You can visit as many planets and moons as you want Have fun! oh and tell me if i need to change anything, this is my first challenge!
