  1. Yes. But that dose not keen its a bad thing. It's like using an over powered mod. It changes the game but as it is single player it your call on how you want to play it.

With out testing it I cant say for sure but if you passing throw Mun SOI (as if your on a fly by path or free return orbit) then I think: In theory aiming your craft at the middle Mun and pulling off a prefact suicide burn with 0 hover time would use the the least fuel. But in practices timing those is hard I would aim my periapsis to almost touch the surface then do a hard burn to 0 my surface speed as I'm reaching my periapsis than should put me at the hight of my Periapsis with out the need for split second timing and should be almost be as good as a theoretical prefect suicide burn.

I said 350 because I'm guessing thats about the maxxed I ever used but to be fair the limit was the build area not the part count and I would of used more if I had space as it was a test to see how much I could put into orbit on one go. But it did slow down my computer on take off. On the other hand there is no size limit to what you can dock together.
  4. I agree the prize of my luncher fleet is a rairly used beast of a thing that badly slows down my computer, but it can, if asked, cleanly (no space debris) put 7 full red tanks into orbit with a 14 part out once in orbit (7 full tanks, 6 ksp radial decoupler and one docking port).
  5. "You don't need nukes to get to Duna" You dont need to get to Duna to get nukes. Its all about what you want to do. I would happerly do a fly-by duna mision as soon as I've unlock decuplers. But would not do a landing and return mission till I had docking ports. (but I could if I wanted to i.e. for a challange)

I would not want to do it with out docking ports but thats realy the only thing I would need from anything deep in the tech tree The best I can remember. mission 1) a command pod on the lunch pad mission 2) a command pod on the runway (with goo) mission 3) should of been orbit but was a mess up staging 30km high flight mission 4) orbit and fly by of the moons. mission 5) Minmus landing - (I waited till I had solar before I did this) mission 6+) played with planes a bit but did not get much sci mission 7(if you count all the planes as one mission)) Duna fly by and ike landing. (but I wish I did gilly) this is as far as I got. I think I could of done a duna landing on 7 but as you can see I'm not in a rush I'm taking it easy not not building things that are too silly. I not planing on doing a hard landing and take off till I have docking ports which I should have once I finish mission 7. If I went to gilly my next mission would of been duna and ike but I didnt plan that very well so my next mission might be laythe. There is a lot of sci to be got by just getting out of kerbin SOI and going into a solor orbit. Should be easyer then a moon landing if you are not ready for a duna mission.
  7. Jet engines are fine if you want to make a SSTO or fly around kerbin. but I want to make a probe or one seat airoplane for duna. I'm thinking of something can can charge it batterys for a day and then go fly for 30mins to and hour before having to land and recharge. Smaller probe size wings would be good for that.
  8. I like this idea but the think I would realy love for my probs would be an electric propeller.
  9. I was thinking if they every added cost to the game. But even with out that it feels better to refly your craft with out taking them back to the hanger.
  10. It would be nice if it where possable to refuel craft at the space port. Maybe an option next in the tracking center to refuel any craft landed if they are landed next to the space port. (or maybe a some docking ports at near the start of the runway that SSTO craft can use. There would need to be a few at differnet hights and maybe some verticals ones that VTOL carfts can use.) ATM the only way to do this is to spawn a fuel tank on the run way with docking ports and they recover it when done. Which is a bit of a pain. Also it would be nice it would be nice if you could colect science from any craft landed at or near the Space Port with out getting rid of the craft.
