I downloaded the update and confirmed the same for me. it eventually moves past "pumping sim once" but crashes at "loading ksp2 missions". I changed graphics setting to lowest and lowered resolution to 1280x720 and I get to "Setting Universe State" and it crashes.

I am also freezing /crashing at pumping sim once. Log files show some errors Failed to read raySampleCount data D3d11 failed to create 2d texture d3d error 887a0005 Invalid pass number for Graphics.Blit
