I have had an error whilst downloading the Realism Overhaul pack. I will copy/paste here what I posted on the RO forums. I am a bit of a noob with CKAN but whenever I go to install RO in the same way i would install a normal mod with dependencies with CKAN (which does work) it puts me through this never ending loop of deciding the RSS textures and the TACLS configs. I use a mac but it looks like this: Myname-MBP:KSP_osxRSS mynamefull$ mono ckan.exe Myname-MBP:KSP_osxRSS mynamefull$ mono ckan.exe install RealismOverhaul Too many mods provide RSSTextures. Please pick from the following: * RSSTexturesDDS2048 (Real Solar System Textures DDS - 2048 x 1024) * RSSTexturesDDS4096 (Real Solar System Textures DDS - 4096 x 2048) * RSSTexturesDDS8192 (Real Solar System Textures DDS - 8192 x 4096) * RSSTextures2048 (Real Solar Stem Textures - 2048 x 1024) * RSSTextures4096 (Real Solar Stem Textures - 4096 x 2048) * RSSTextures8192 (Real Solar Stem Textures - 8192 x 40960 Myname-MBP:KSP_osxRSS mynamefull$ mono ckan.exe install RealismOverhaul RSSTextures(Insert the number, DDS or not (I have tried all of them but the 8192 kind for both due to the fact that Macs cannot handle them)) Too many mods provide TACLS-Config. Please pick from the following: *TACLS-Config-RealismOverhaul (TAC Life Support (TACLS) - Realism Overhaul Config) *TACLS-Config-Stock (TAC Life Support (TACLS) - stock config) Myname-MBP:KSP_osxRSS mynamefull$ mono ckan.exe install RealismOverhaul TACLS-Config-(Stock or RealismOverhaul) Too many mods provide the RSSTextures. Please pick from the following: And the cycle continues... I have done this using all variations minus the 8192 textures. This includes me doing the cycle with EVERY OPTION in one go/page on terminal (Choosing DDS2048 & TACLS RO, DDS2048 & TACLS Stock, DDS4096 & TACLS RO etc.) What am I doing wrong or is there a problem (other than my skills with CKAN as I learnt it the previous night with help from the lovely Ippo)? Thanks in advance Final part that was not included in the RO forums part, would this loop be caused by RO or CKAN? Thanks

Downloading. Why? Because I have the same thought about the contracts. I don't mean the be a clingy one but I know that Ippo takes care of his users so I can imagine this will be good.

Sweet pretty cool, from my point of view it mainly needs a GUI (in the stable version of course) and proper OSX support. Now before anything is mentioned about how it it is made/powered by mono, CKAN won't work as described. I have figure out how to open CKAN with terminal but doing 'ckan.exe <command>' does not work and comes up with '-bash: ckan.exe: command not found'. This seems really cool but now this is just teasing me with it being able to only get to the title screen. It appears that KSP installers may not be usable on Macs. I guess this is just a small price to pay with owning an OSX. Ippo, I am not yet ready to call 'Dangit' yet. This is still new and I can expect marvellous things, wonderful things. I must now say goodbye, my friend (that I have never met, talked to or anything.) Goodbye, and at least the majority of KSP players can enjoy this.

The 0.90 (Why not 0.9?) update is the start of the Betas. Why not start fresh? For the past couple updates I have just gone to http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Campaigns and spent the hours doing most of them in order. Sometimes starting from ashes is the best to do. In career/science you get to start with the pod & SRB and not with SSTLs (SingleStageToLaythe) that you have. Change is good.

[WIP][1.4.5] VST (Vectura Space Technologies)
TheGamingNoobster replied to Vectura's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Good, the final product so far is good. And on the generic word of 'good', well done, keep up the good work. -
I understand that this may have been mentioned before but CKAN is a .EXE. What I am trying to get at is that the people using OSX would have to install Wine or Wine bottler (http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/) to run it. Even then, as I embarrassingly must say, have failed to convert the .EXE to .APP (kind of like the equivalent to .EXE's for mac for running programs). May you please release an OSX compatible version of CKAN. Cheers mate!

404-link not found. The website cannot find the f-104 -
Rareden, I was going through Russian KSP sites (don't ask why) and I found this http://.............../sandbox/sohraneniya-ksp/sohraneniya-raket-sandbox/1343-kerbpaint-repost.html This website uses many of your wonderful images without acknowledging the creator. The images are called 'fan art' and your name/signature is cropped out and replaced with '...............'. This is just to let you know for copyright purposes and stuff. Whether they were allowed or not does not concern myself but it may concern yourself. Your welcome. (edit) The url has (without spaces) 'k e r b a l s p a c e . r u' at the start. The replaced signature is the same as above with the 'k e r b a l s p a c e . r u' Cheers mate

Hey, I understand that you probably only use a windows computer but as an observation the program can't even be converted to macOSX using wine. I know that the linux/mac players make up the minority but it would be nice for something to happen. Cheers mate!

Space Transport System[NASA] VS Buran [Soviet]
TheGamingNoobster replied to piggysanTH's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I have read this entire thing so far (like most of us here) and I wondered how a game about short lime-green men has spurred mini flame wars about space planes that are not in service. I do like the points on both sides though. The SLS seems cool but is just NASA trying to get men back into space without bothering the Russians. Keep in mind that this is about the STS and Buran not about STS, Buran and Energia. Personally I rather the STS due to how I grew up with it. I wanted to fly the shuttle before I could even piece a sentence together. On an entirely different topic, 0.25 soon! -
Hey Mulbin, with the lander I encountered a problem about stability. The lander would always tilt forwards. When the landing stage was decoupled for descent it was nearly unbearable. When the electric charge ran out the, there was no torque and the engine would provide more torque than the RCS could counter. To recover Jeb & Bill I had to enable infinite fuel as that supplies electricity. Other than that, well done! I know this is late but good luck with your new child!

Oh...My...God... What have you done? I always wanted this for my shuttles and the only way to kind of have this was with MJ (which I object to using for reasons). You have my respect. Also, well done on getting featured on 'modding mondays' on http://kerbaldevteam.tumblr.com/ -
After finishing a physics exam I drew an in game blueprint for the 0.23.5 asteroid patch with the delta v calculated and with a science assignment on planetary alignments and eclipses I see a place in Australia named ceDUNA. KSP why do I write Mun not Moon, Kerbol not sun, Eve not Venus, Duna not Mars and Kerbin not Earth? Why did I only realise that after I got it back! Well, I still only got an A- (Next time my precious, next time.)
