  1. I call a pack of Vortigaunts that vaporize your crowbar with their beams, atacking the next poster with MOAR beams! (I hope you guys know Half-Life )
  2. Glad you liked it By the way, you can install LLL lite (it's in the same thread as full LLL) which has fewer parts, eliminating some of the almost useless ones. I'm thinking of building another mother ship, but that will carry only one lander. I guess it makes more sense, since I would be carrying less wheight. I don't know how I'll achieve that though...
  3. It's not even fun like this Whatever. *dies* The KSC was on the bottom of the cliff. My body is hit by a booster, going at terminal velocity to the next poster.
  4. I sneak behind the Dalek, and push it off a cliff, towards the next poster!
  5. Silly name, huh? Hi everyone! I'd like to show you my best personal achievement in Kerbal Space Program! I've been playing for about 6 months, and discovered the forums a while ago. Moving on, project "Muddaship" is my first Mothership in KSP. I use a bunch of mods, I think it is much more fun and exciting. Even if I have 3000 Isp and a couple dozens of tons as a main engine. (I'm sorry f anyone used that name already on something on the forums, I probably took the idea from somewhere but I can't exactly remember or be sure) I'm sorry I don't have fotos of all the process, but I was to busy having my mouth wide open. Basically it was my first time landing on the lonely space potato... Dres! And also first interplanetary, no atmosphere landing. So here goes. Next stop, either Kerbin or Jool, I have a bit more than half fuel left, but I probably wouldn't be able to return from Jool if I landed anywhere. The mods I used are: DMagic Orbital Science B9 Aerospace KW Rocketry LLL (for most of the craft, and the engines) Spherical and Toroidal tanks pack MechJeb Kerbal Attachment System Kerbal Alarm Clock Again, I like mods A lot. Please tell me what you think!
  6. Struts. MOAR struts. Even if you don't want it, you have to do it. If you really don't want to, try sticking the panels on the main body. But why would you need that much power? You can do it like me and have a power plant with tons of little reactors. You can reduce the amount if you get LLL (Lack Luster Labs), since it has big reactors. Great mod, you should try it if you don't have it yet.
  7. Another great thing (that kind of includes itself into this one) is to be able to see the samples in a small window that would pop up. A bag full of dust, or a small rock, or even a jar with liquid! And what if you could get the atmospheric samples inside a jar (yes, very kerbal like! Maybe even saying pickles on the top ) and see the colour of the atmosphere? Sure, wouldn't be very realistic but KSP is more about fun right?
  8. Make an episode. Like nao. Immediately. Instantly, Quickly! In other words, I loved WWK, and this looks like it can be even better. Just do one thing for me: Try to make it linear: Bad guys are bad guys. No good-bad alliances, because that kinda ruined WWK. But Im really excited for this! Hope to see much more
  9. Banned for not being a noob and for spelling "noob" wrong
  10. http://tarazairline.hyd.me/kerbalmods/ Lol I was searching for a good KMP war server and I found that link about some mods
  11. Mine is Unnecessarily Big Rockets and Enormous Explosions Inc. xD UBREE
  12. Maybe you put a fuel line and didn't remember, that's my best explanation Try re-building that problematic section. Maybe that will fix any misplaced parts you may have accidental put there, or fix the bug, if that is the case.
  13. "It was for a scientific purpose!" - Mission Control
  14. I am absolutely eager to get my hands on this! It's just a shame Jeb will hate it... Guess well have fewer missions with him xD
  15. There are no fuel lines, just pipes, and there only work for docking on the ground from some meters apart and transferring fuel. It can't be used, for example, on a craft with asparagus staging.
  16. Thank you so much, I have been waiting for this since forever, it seems! It's really my "core" mod
  17. Well, I guess you can forget the return unless you have mods or you are Jebediah's cousin... But it's nice for an atmospheric lander. Just stick 2 plastic bags on your craft (That's what parachutes are made of, right?) and your good to go. I think you can get to 100 m/s without parachutes, so the thick atmosphere gives you a good landing and a kick in science points to get more advanced stuff and head to Duna. That's how I made it. If you go to Eve, try landing near the coast (mechjeb helps), as you can get ocean data with your Kerbal.
  18. I have a very quick question... Is there a way to see where the ore deposits are located from the map? When I put my mouse on top of an hexagon it tells me It has ore on it, but is there a way to see it like the Kethane deposits show themselves? If not you should do that. Maybe brown for ore and some kind of red or blue for both. It would really help me out for my future mun base, and is really practical
  19. Very nice, haven't actually thinked of that. A shame that wouldn't work with stations . MechJeb helps with docking on stations. You can go parallel with the target's docking port
  20. You guys always talk about how MechJeb is weird and such, but for me it always worked. I even put a tiny marker on the Mun to serve as some kind of landing pad. I copied its coordinates and inserted the in the autoland. It landed ON TOP of it. I tried twice with 2 different landers and it worked fine. After I landed I used the translatron to hover and move myself to where I wanted to. But the only thing strange that happened to me was when I try to execute a maneuver node that has some tweaks in the pink markers (you know, the ones that change the inclination of the orbit) is spins a little bit and then points correctly. But again that is very minor. P.S.: Maybe your spacecraft a too complex? Try making something more symmetric and linear
  21. Mmm, I think you assigned it to the wrong stage and you didn't notice. When you deploy parachutes in space they open upon reentry.
  22. So, I have some ideas that i would like to share with everyone! First of all, 0.65m Reaction wheels. I really enjoy making space probes, and sometimes they are a bit heavy, and the tiny torque from the control capsules (or whatever they are called) is not enough. Now a suggestion not only for the game. I think Squad should create topics for we to vote or talk about things they create. For example, they surely had parts that were half developed and left aside because they weren't good enough or just didn't fit. If the players could give their opinions on those parts it would be nice.
