  1. If telescopes/observatories are ever added to the game*. They could be used to discover an asteroid belt, but instead of dealing with hundreds of small rocks loading constantly within a 2.5 KM radius, A telescope can find asteroids that are around the size of Gilly, but could be bigger or smaller. They would be either randomly generated, or pulled from a big pile of asteroids that squad would make, model, and texture. Obviously we don't have planet-sized asteroids in the belt, and it it would be pointless to have an asteroid that is smaller than your ship! Upon it's discovery with the telescope, you could be given the option to name it, and it would then appear on the Orbital Map. I'm not saying there SHOULD be asteroids as it is on the Do not suggest list. But is a suggestion for a mechanic that would permit implementation, what are your thoughts?

*Are on Planned Features list, though lack a citation.

  2. Oh man, I have had my fair share of fails, but I never take pictures of them! :(

Here is an example of some... Slight structural failure just after launch. And don't hate me because of Mechjeb, I only used it for checking my Orbit and ÃŽâ€v.

The dangers of landing on your Münar injection stage! After carrying on the balancing act just long enough to plant a flag for a photo, my rocket promptly fell down, shattering into pieces.

  3. -snip-

additional 8,000 lbs...In other words, you will need a way to keep the darn thing under control while it is up there.

Solution: Launch 8000 pounds worth of school children to fly it. That's like, 100 kids? and one red-haired teacher? It would be quite the magical School bus ride.

  4. Hey guys I have been lurking the forums for two versions now, and I originally tried the game when it was in it's early stages, around .12, but I didn't really think much of it. But I picked it up again after it came out on steam, having forgotten it had existed, and I have over 250 hours(!) in it. I love KSP and I will also come to love the forums!
