  2. I like the 3 engines but I would use 1 basic in the middle and 2 turbos on the outside tanks. To fix your maneuvering problem put an 1 sas behind the cockpit or put 2 if needed on the outer tanks behind the air intakes. Maybe another control surface, or canard. As for landing put another landing gear farther up the nose and put your gear on an action group. So for take off you use the one farther back for faster liftoff and the one farther up for a nice even landing platform.

  4. Lynx Using 60 parts, weighing in at 8.8 tons wet, and powered by 1 turbojet and 2 rockomax 48-7S's. It takes off at around 40-50 m/s. Pitch up to about 35 and hold untill 16,000 then pitch down to 10-15 and go for the speed run. You can get 110,000 x 20,000 on just the turbojet. Circularizing using rockomax 48-7S is usually only a few seconds. Plenty of gas in the tank for orbital manuevers and deorbiting. It has 87.5 monopropellant and a bottom mounted port for docking. It is very easy to fly at low and high altitudes. Glides very well and lands at high or low speeds. Should be a good well rounded first time SSTO I used AV-T1 winglets to cover up fuel lines, monoprop tanks, rcs thrusterblocks, and ports. No parts clipping was used. It could easily be expanded upon by making longer in the front to add more fuel, an inline docking port, or another cockpit. All you would need to do is add canards to the longer front end and move the front wheel farther up.   6. Inspired by Narcosis's superlight I was messing around in the SPH and came up with a siamese twin version. Not as finely crafted as his but I thought I would show it anyways. http://www./view/ss1cnbi56kafrv7/2_seater_mini_ssto.craft For kerbals to get in and out you just close front landing gear. Twin turbos are overkill and you have to watch your fuel but it makes orbit very fast and easy. Circularize and deorbit with rcs.

  10. The Manta Ray Still kind of a work in progress but I will post here since it can make orbit. Mechjeb says it has over 18,000 delta v after making 100k orbit, idk if that's a bug or not though. I'm thinking its reading the turbojets still even though they are shut off and nukes are on.
  11. I used Some of Huggy's wing and engine design to make this. It kinda looks like a stingray.
  12. I am no expert but I would take off the aerospike and put on 1 nuke or 2-3 48-7S's and you should get a lot more Delta V. If you put up the craft file I will gladly do it as I like tinkering with other peoples designs.
  13. I agree using a longer line of intakes looks much better than 2-3 of them. I also like to turn the last one backwards just for looks. Until we get better stock intakes ill be using this same method on all my planes and sstos.
  14. Reworked an old plane design and ended up with a very nice SSTO that has around 3300 delta v left in lko. XK-54 SSTO MK2 I painted it black on the way up. I had some time to kill. It has somewhere around 3300 deltav left after LKO.
  15. I like it. Looks a lot like a few I have posted before. Mine have chutes though for landing with no fuel. I like the B9 parts on yours. It makes it look very nice.
  16. A new SSTO design. I saw a design here on the forums that had things connected to the canards. Which I did not know you could do. So I tried an SSTO of my own using this idea.   19. I reworked my old Kerbal Flying Octogan design and made it an SSTO. After deciphering a warning from a video log of the Far Star's crew going insane and mutilating each other, Jebidiah and Bill Kerman deduce that while the ship's kraken drive did successfully open a gateway in spacetime, it leapt outside the known universe and into another dimension, described later on by Dr. Weir Kerman as "a dimension of pure chaos, pure evil" . The Far Star has since then gained an evil sentience and telepathic abilities, tormenting its occupants with the aim of compelling them to return to Hell. Be warned this technology is pure evil!
