  1. There are a few pretty old threads about specific launches, but I figured a catch-all like the SpaceX and Blue Origin threads might be in order (I also changed my Proton launch thread to be generic Russian launches). Saying that, tonight is a double-header with a Soyuz launch, AND a ULA launch.
  2. Delta Pack Adds the Delta II, III and IV rockets into the game, featuring highly detailed models & textures. (No, this is NOT the official ULA mod pack! I do not have any affiliation with them, I've released my work on my own since otherwise you would never get your hands on this.) Overview of the parts included: RS-27A, RS-68A, RL10-B2, AJ-10-118K, LR-101 GEM-40, GEM-46, GEM-60,GEM-63, GEM-63XL, Star 48B SRM's 4m DCSS (2 colour shemes), 5m DCSS, Common Booster Core, Thor Tank, Delta K, Extra Extended Long Thor Tank various Payload Fairings A wide range of different payload adapters based Note: These launch vehicles are scaled down to fit the Kerbal universe, Delta II has a diameter of 1.5m, Delta III of 2.5m and Delta IV of 3m. A seperate manual is also included in the .zip file. Real Solar System / Realism Overhaul configs are made by @raidernick and are included in the upcoming RO patch. Enjoy! Great review by KottabosGames SpaceX Pack Due to its size and popularity, the SpaceX Pack has been split into its own thread. You can find it here. Atlas Pack Includes: Atlas V Rocket 400 & 500 series (3 Payload fairings for each version) Centaur with RL-10 Payload interfaces (C13, C15, C22, C25, C29, A937S, B1194) http://imgur.com/a/3qlH3 Requires Old School Fairings , BD Animation Module Recommended Editor Extensions KSP Version 1.1.3 Version 2.0 (Released September 9 2016) Download SpaceDock Realism Overhaul configs are included in the RO mod Real Plume config provided by @Hysterrics , downloadable here License All rights reserved
  3. Hello fellow kerbals, today on the spacecraft exchange i would like to show you the Delta Rockets. These rockets were used to launch small/large probes. (I will add my rockets soon.)
  4. First mission to Moho here. Used this plane to lift the interplanetary stage - And that's the single crew ion probe. Has a crew cabin so it's not a total spam in can setup, the drive section detaches as you can see with a command chair. That's the lander. Somehow i've burned 11k Delta V getting there, am now in low orbit with just 2300. I take it some kind of rescue mission will be needed, or is the return leg less costly, is there anything clever that can be done with aerobraking / assists?
  5. So, I looked up delta V and apparently its basically synonymous with acceleration. So what is all the fuss with Delta V readouts etc? Why are Delta V readouts necessary?
  6. I created this chart a while ago as a supplement to the excellent delta V map provided by WAC, Kowgan and Swash. The delta V values used are not my work and are based on WAC's map for 1.0.4 , likewise the orbital data and planetary images were collated from the Kerbal Wiki. I find it useful to have as a quick reference and was designed to be printed at A4, although the pdf version is vector (and scalable) as I created it in AutoCAD. If I've missed any credit to others let me know (or anything else) and I will update. Anyway here's the thing: PDF Version (Best for printing) In case anyone is interested, my original AutoCAD (dwg) version can can found here: https://grabcad.com/library/kerbal-space-program-v1-0-4-delta-v-map-dwg-pdf-2d-1
