Simple Adjustable Fairings Features Single part fairings with a simple length adjustment Fairings are transparent in the editor so that you can build your payload easily (they can also be opened) Clean, clamshell deployment every time. No confetti, no fiddling with the deployment force. Automatic deployment at altitude. The altitude is adjustable and this can be disabled. Compatible with both FAR and stock aero Requirements Please use the version of KSP specified in the download. Other versions will probably not work. You do not need KW Rocketry installed. All the required assets are included. Downloads Downloads are on Github (for now the KW Rocketry fairing pack is the only one available) The plugin and fairings are in the same download, but you must install both folders to GameData You can also download just the plugin here Also available on CKAN. If you install via CKAN, select the KW Rocketry Pack (which will also install the plugin) Changelog Plugin KW Rocketry Fairing Pack What this mod aims to do Provide an easy to use, good looking fairings that can be used with most payloads. What this mod does not aim to do Replace the stock procedural fairings completely. They are still useful for interstages, aeroshells, and weirdly shaped payloads. Known Issues I've tested this mod for bugs, but I can't catch everything. If you see issues in the following areas definitely let me know Whether the back of the fairing renders when it is transparent seems to be inconsistent Not Tweakscale compatible Code Plugin code available on Github License The plugin is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License The KW Rocketry Fairings are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (consistent with their original license) Credits Plugin by @blowfish KW Fairings by @Kickasskyle and @Winston KW Rocketry is now maintained by @linuxgurugamer Original (old) KW Rocketry thread KW Rocketry Redux thread

I used to have this mod that would add fairings as individual side panels that you could attach to a base, but I forgot the name of it. I would like to find it again, as it makes payloads look much more clean than just the weird shapes of stock or even KW faring. It was useful for getting clean fairings that would look the same for all payloads, and they usually had nice curves to them. Could anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi All! So as you all must know, the 1.2 update came out today!! (yayyy) and so i dutifully updated my game from Steam. Anyway I have lots of mods installed, including, but not limited to, KW rocketry. Anyhow, when I updated my game it informed me that it could no longer load pretty much any of my spacecraft as the part medium strut connector was missing. Is there any way to resolve this?????

I made a nice, well-flying Saturn V look-alike using stock and KW Rocketry parts. I also used MechJeb because I like the extra orbital info that it gives, but you can remove the MJ parts if you don't want them. Any comments? I would love to know how I could improve the realism and/or the flyability of this thing. Link to the .craft file: Clicky! Also, this thing was made in KSP 1.2.2. Specs: Part Count: 73 Width: 5m (First stage, Last stage 2.5m) Height: 62m Weight: 439.4t I have a severe lack of any pad screenshots, so most of what you are gonna see here was taken of the CSM/lander around either the Mun or Minmus. Screenshots: https://1drv.ms/i/s!Aj6gaWpn2OKCgRmKfO5dbaE-n0Vo https://1drv.ms/i/s!Aj6gaWpn2OKCgRgjJvl2_pldcPbz https://1drv.ms/i/s!Aj6gaWpn2OKCgRdvc7zqAFE5-0oX (I have Windows set to upload screenshots to OneDrive when I press Print Screen - this avoids filling up my Steam Cloud with them :D) It is also worthy of note that I have successfully recreated an Apollo-style Mun landing using this craft. One note I must make is that the second stage can be a little overzealous when it comes to steering with gimbal. I haven't attempted to fix this myself yet, but for now be sure to keep a watchful eye on the navball.

When I load KSP, it works, but when I go to the tech tree, KW rocketry is not there, I have installed it. I am using KSP 1.0.5. If you need more information please ask. How do I get the parts to appear?
