I have a big rocket, and when I separate radial boosters the fuel tank falls off the fairing (staging double checked). I have added a lot of structs, but it still falls off. -
Decouplers/Separators will not properly separate from an engine if the engine was activated before separation. this will mainly happen when the engine and decoupler are in the same stage. A workaround i found is to have the decouplers and engines in there own stage one after another instead of in the same stage.

Hello all, Whenever I try to separate the CSM from the 3rd stage, the four fairing pieces that come with the rocket do not detach. I know that I have my staging correct. Does anyone have any helpful tips? Any help is appreciated. mustangpilot51

So when I activate the decoupler my command pod and science lab seperate but camera and control stays with Rocket engine and fuel tanks. This happened after I restored a quicksave. It has also happened in the past after I reverted to the launch pad. I am sure there is a simple fix (I hope) but not seeing any key commands that transfer controls from one unit while in flight. Please help and thank you.
