What would you want Valve to make: Half-Life 3 or Portal 3 (poll)
Lewie posted a topic in The Lounge
So, we all know Valve. Gaming wouldn’t be what it is without ‘em. Most of us have either played the Half-life series (or know what it is) same goes for the Portal series (yet another gaming masterpiece!) we know that it will most likely never happen...but what would you guys want to play? HL3 or Portal 3? Oh, and i would want to see HL3. Portal 2 was a good ending to the series, and both games are highly repayable. Half-Life 2 (chapter 2) was not a good ending to the series, and really really needs a satisfactory conclusion. (And I love Half-life!!) and with modern technology, HL3 could be absolutely gorgeous! HL2 was ahead if its time, and I believe Valve could really make a stunning game with the tools we now have. -
Now that the situation with Linux gaming will change by the time KSP2 releases(Major handheld console running desktop Linux), will you(Intercept Games/Private Division) be making a Linux port or testing on Proton?

Hi, i just read an article on Gamestar und in this video from minute 20 stating that Valve has employed a good portion of the developers of KSP around five to six months ago. I haven't have heard anything of this yet. GameStar is even speculating that maybe Valve bought Squad. The article also states that Valve answered to a request that "they" were hired, not stating if they meant Squad of some of the developers. What do you think about this? I think that maybe squad has employed the teammembers that left Squad not too long ago. Wouldn't such big news have been around for a while if Squad was taken over by Valve? Can maybe @UomoCapra or @Badie shed some light on this?

Hello everyone, There was news today that former KSP developers have joined Valve. We want to clarify that Squad is not joining Valve, and we continue to be an independent studio with the core KSP team remaining at Squad, hard at work on the improved KSP for consoles port, Update 1.3 and the Making History Expansion. The KSP community shouldn't be concerned about this news having any impact on the game. Regarding the developers joining Valve, it is important to note that we have had several people working on our team over the years, and it is common among development studios for team members to come and go. If some of them joined Valve, it is on their own behalf and we wish them good luck and success in their current and future endeavors. So do not worry, everything continues normally with KSP Happy launchings, The KSP Dev Team
