Welcome to Outer Planets Plus (OP+), an expansion to the excellent Outer Planets Mod (OPM). OP+ aims to expand OPM by adding new moons and dwarf planets. As of the current release OP+ adds seven new moons and two new draft planets, increasing the challenge and the fun of KSP.

New Planets Of Outer Planets Plus

Moons Orbiting Urlum

Nuovana

Half of this moon's surface is covered by a large glacier. Some KUFO believers say that the small white dots seen inside the glacier are secret alien bases.

Lyvara

With it's brown rings and a Mars-like surface Lyvara created confusion when Urlum was discovered because astronomers thought Urlum had a nose!

Ven

A rocky brown planet.

Kerlanes

Many years kerbal astronomers thought the newly discovered planet, Urlum, didn't had moons... Until someone started cleaning the lens...

Moons Orbiting Neidon

Phal

A rocky planet.

Viros

Many astronomers think that Viros had rivers, seas and even oceans but for some reason the moon was flung out of solar orbit and captured by Neidon and therefore it's water remained frozen under the dusty surface..

Erfen

This captured cratery moon was named after the kerbal god of ground, Erfen.

Dwarf Planets/Asteroids

Klive

This litle asteroid was discovered when the KSC decided to start the asteroid redirect mission.

Sisyphus

Curently this litle comet is the farthest known object in the Kerbol system.

Installation Instructions

1. Install Outer Planets Mod
   
2. Install Outer Planets Plus into Gamedata folder
   
3. Have Fun!!!

Hey, I might be able to do this in my Kerbal Space Colonies series I am preparing for (filming to start if I can ever get OBS to record anything other than a black screen!)

Part of this isn't even original. A few textures and height maps are stolen from Planet Factory planet packs.

I'd like to say I like it, but I can't. The bodies are mostly chaotic and inherit some bad ideas from Planet Factory.

Also I really don't see the need for this. OPM is a work in progress. Its developers are slowly turning it into stock-like high quality expansion of the Kerbol system and they do it elegantly. This forking is not to my taste, sorry.

If you don't like it, don't download it.

I like some of the textures, and I think you've done the small moons very well. Klive possibly needs its normal map fixed. Erfen's heightmap looks an awful lot like Thud's but I'm not all that familiar with the other planet factory packs to spot the similarities in the other moons. Overall I'd say good job making the small moons look fun and mostly stockalike.

If you want more people to see your mod, consider releasing it in the Add On Releases forum.

Yeah. The only planet in this that I actually like is Lyvara. Not only is it beautiful, but it's a perfect analog to the planned moon for GP3 that had rings.
