Steam changes screenshot URLs

In case you've wondered why your hotlinked images from Steam don't work, it's because they've changed their URLs.

Example - we had this:

http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/bunchofnumbers/bunchofnumbersandletters/

And now we have this:

http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/bunchofnumbers/bunchofnumbersandletters/

I've noticed my screenshots are missing so it's time to repair them... until the next wacky move by Steam administration.

It's sometimes easier to upload directly to steam, since we can take screenshots while playing and immediately upload them, and share them without tabbing out.

I don't like Imgur, and the screenshots are already on Steam, so there's no need to reupload them.

They changed the URL on purpose, they want to get rid of all the nasty links stealing their bandwith

Yeah, probably, but bandwidth stealing happens when the image is loaded. Almost nobody looks at old threads where most of those screenshots end, so I don't understand the need for this. Surely they can cope with some hotlinking...
