Sent a plane to investigate an anomaly far to the north of KSC.

Discovered an object half buried in the snow and that's when strange things began to happen.

Despite the occurrences everyone thought it would be okay to get out and take some group photos.

Kerbal high command immediately began funding a massive construction project near the sight. Testing and delivery of facilities began.

So after dragging the communications module into position I then pulled all my KAS enabled cranes up to the facility.

Only to discovery that attaching 3 vehicles to something with KAS is essentially docking and making 1 vehicle and controlling said vehicles individually is nearly impossible and it also causes major glitches. I basically broke my game. I will now be back at the drawing board for my next version of multi purpose crane instead of 3 separate ones.

In the below pic one of the cranes started to slowly levitate and would not unplug/undock. Eventually the game would crash every time. I tried to work around this for hours then decided to revert to an earlier save. More to follow.

Once better equipment was developed and tested construction began to look promising.

The Polar Skidder proved itself to be a proficient base building tool.

Stock. Use SCANsat to find the exact location, or fly around the north polar area near the southern edge.
