Unable to complete contracts

Bug.

When I plant a flag at the base and then want to finish the mission it won't. It did allow me to revert the mission but that took me back to a previous save which was not an auto save, they don't appear to work. It went to an hour earlier.

Steam, the platform you don't upgrade like the free ones.

Bug. Screen frozen all actions don't work. Happens a lot on steam. Please start a game on staem and go through the massive bugs you have on the ground site menus.

I have just had another of the just won't do anything crashes.

I posted the screen shot to public access on steam. With the above caption.

I would strongly recommend posting screenshots here, and better descriptions of the problem(s), if you want people to be able to help you. Steam is a purchase a delivery mechanism and has nothing to do with KSP's development or support - the mods aren't going to go and track down a picture you left somewhere on the internet :)

This is of a locked screen which will not go anywhere much except sometimes it goes to a failure type with another box with green writing in it.

If you can go to the steam site there are lots of various bugged out screen shots.

Is it me or steam or what?

I am very frustrated because your game is superb at the complex stuff but the whole menu bit on the ground seems to have been forgotten for the career mode especially.

Would it be a good idea for you to go into steam on my account? You could experience it all then?

What would an out_put_log_text look like when I have had to use control alt delete to get out?

Is it at all possible for me to get to these if I am using steam?

Well, first I recommend ensuring your files are not corrupted by right clicking KSP in the steam client, selecting "Properties", then the "Local files" tab.

Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" to repair KSP.

Test the game, if it still has problems click "Browse Local Files" in Steam, open "KSP_Data" and find your output_log.txt

Open that file, copy the contents to pastebin.com and post the link to it here.

We can't determine much more without that info, sorry.

The output_log.txt is overwritten each time the game is started, so in order for the file to show any error messages you will need to reproduce the bug, and then send a log.

From the log you posted there is no information to suggest what occurred.

Please try again and hopefully we'll catch something in the log that tells us what is going on :)

OK. I'll restart and do it as soon as it crashes.

There are saved games which have saved in a crash mode do you want them? Or do I need to start a new one from scratch or will one which does a little then crashes do?

That is after about 1minute of messing about in the space center. Still got a vast file. I shut down steam and restarted before that. The screen shot will not upload to steam, I think that is a steam issue.

It looks like you might have a corrupted save, indeed. I don't know if they'd be recoverable or not, but even if they are it wouldn't be easy to put them back together.

Does starting a new save fix the problem at all? If not, you may have some kind of permissions issue.
