Here is the biggest surprise of the mission. It actually didn't blow up. Also this is the first test flight of it

This is dropping off the first stage (It is three internal Boosters)

Dropping off the Main stage, it did the main bulk lifting

It is at this point that i begin to believe. WILL IT WORK?!

BOOM! As i decoupled the previous stage it blew up behind me. Worried that i had damaged the ship i frantically look around it. Luckily the boom was just parts from the previous stage

this stage has about 7700 delta V if i calculated it properly and im pretty sure Jeb likes it.

I really like the Kerbodyne/mk3 styling of the aft section, it reminds me of Soyuz/Vostok which is appropriate for something that huge. Well done, and nice sequence of pictures! So, does it have a mission in mind or are you still in proof-of-concept stage? With that many NERVA engines and the right hookups I think you could get a Class-E asteroid under tow.

Its still in the proof of concept stage, but i think i might use it to bring a class E asteroid into an orbit, then make a colony on it. If not that then maybe send something big to jool

WOW! IT DWARFS MY FAR-LANDER SERIES! You would get way more space delta-V if you had an orange tank and four nukes. It gets about 10,000 delta-v.

that stage in the last screen shot has an orange tank on it along with a load of other fuel tanks + all those nukes

Wow. It works AND looks very clean and nice. Great work. Also, such a booster should prove useful in 1.0, when you need to lift large mining and processing platforms.
