Why Samsung Galaxy S3 convert SMS to MMS

I wonder why this is happening in my previous phones (Nokia 5230 and Sony Xperja J) I could write such a long text message as I wanted.

I could have the older models but not the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is supposedly more modern.

I have about a month 500 free minutes of replacement ratio of 1: 1 for SMS, I have never used my free minutes, not used can be used within a month. are an extra account that is run if I used all four free minutes from the current accounting period, but once I such a thing happened;-)

Returning to the topic so far as the number of free SMS messages have virtually infinite, since it is equal to a free minute (who would send 500 text messages a month ;) ). In contrast, the number of free MMSs I have only 10 and it's only when I pay my bill on time.

In this regard, I would like to ask whether it is possible to Samusng Galaxy S3 does not change the format of my text message from SMS to MMS. The strange thing is that in my old mobile phones could send a very long text message, which was calculated as 10 sms, but I can not do that in the Samsung Galaxy S3

It's common thing on Android. If SMS is too long, it's not cut in pieces like it used to be, but converted into much more expensive MMS.

Try Messaging->Settings->Creation Mode set to restricted.
