(Turn-based) Kerbal Multiplayer Collaboration

Thank you. This was something I figured anyone could just do in their spare time, but I guess not. I'll have to be wary of that... Anyway, resuming mission now!

EDIT: I'll also need to figure out how to get past this lock... Shouldn't be too hard, but it may delay the upload a few minutes.

EDIT:

That wouldn't be possible. If there are any Clamp-O-Tron juniors, I can't find them.

Alos, if you plan on continuing your turn, change the "Current User" file.

No need^^. I'm really done this time. I finally got past that lock as well. And here is the report:

Once again, please be frank about any issues you may have.

Are you sure you've saved after the last operation? I've loaded your save file and Munrick and Correy still sit in their seats on this small craft floating past the Hub.

Oops, I completely forgot about Jr. clamp o trons. :P

My bad.

Next turn I'll a couple of adapters to the inline docking ports for them. Sorry.

Edit: I'll return Corey to kerbin when I test the crew retrieval system too. Now to wait for cycle #2

Really? Strange... On my save, they're in the cabin... In any case, I'm assuming it isn't too much hassle to spend 25 seconds to move them back in? Unless you mean like, they're shooting past it at mach 5 billion, in which case that would be impossible...

EDIT: Although, the return vehicle does seem to have changed positions... weird.

Would anyone say that this picture perfectly resembles what we're doing here?

We're making a skycrane rover!

Two questions, Xannari:

1) Did you or did you not hack gravity to do something that would have otherwise been impossible?

2) Did you just say that a vacuum has Mach numbers?

3) Did both parts of your turn total up to less than 48 hours?

1. You are wise to be suspicious of that little comment I made. To answer... yes, I did turn it on when I had to walk Correy over to the ascent vehicle. It was re-enabled afterwards. I assure you, it was only used to save time. If I was to run nonstop, it would've taken roughly a half hour. I hope this is alright?

2. Yes. Mach numbers are interchangeable depending on the planet. Otherwise, it is represented by the value 340.29 m/s.

3. Crap. I have a terrible sense of time. I go by a different system, you see. Surely if my conversions are correct, the time is less than 2 of your days.

Sorry, misunderstood how Mach numbers worked. I'm assuming you turned gravity back on to get into the command seat.

Is 48 hours not universal?

I guess I forgot to show my ladders. You can kinda see them on the 12th picture... kinda, just hidden.

I use a Sigma timescale; something unlike any other scale on the planet. As the name implies, it uses a Sigma molecule to track the passage of time; the molecule of course being synthesized. I have to use a decently complex formula to convert the measurements into a time that you all understand.

Hey all.

I've created a new 'Current Player' file in the folder, and I'd like to propose switching to it.

It's a Google Sheet instead of a Doc, so it's not as pretty, but it does do the time calculations automatically.

Please let me know what you think.

Zip the save file directory, and you should be able to upload the file directly to Google Drive.

If you don't have a Zip tool, there are plenty of free, open-source tools available on the internet.

Remember to remove your name form the Current Player file as well :)

Gah, I was wondering if i should Zip it. I'll delete it and reupload it.

EDIT: I Zipped it and reuploaded. I also moved the old file to the archives and cleared the current user file. I also rendered and uploaded the video here:

Are you sure you want to keep this station all to yourself and not let anyone else add stuff to it?

Also, you rarred the file instead of zipping it, but I corrected it.

Great video.

When my turn comes around, I'm going to try and bring down (or magically terminate from the Tracking Station) some of the debris that's been collecting.

It actually feels pretty good having gotten that turn off of my chest. Any recommendations on how I should record docking for my next turn? I've tried it multiple ways. One is that I just end up with a 40 minute video of me tinkering with the intercept and the other just cuts the part where i tweak the intercept and gets right to the docking procedure.

Nice video you made there. So now there's three stations in kerbin, considering the part count on mine it might not get much use sadly.

I have to fix some stuff (some part reduction, and adding some clamp jr. to one side) on it though, so I might de-orbit, fix and re-launch the station in my next turn.

I'm working on the crew delivery vehicles in another save for efficient use of my turn, I'll post them here when I finish and test launch them.
