Best life support mod?

What is the best life support mod for me?

I would like it to have oxygen and food needed at least (maybe water also). I would also like to be able to still build independently working stations/bases without needing maintenance flights. So a mod should provide me with methods to build bases that can produce each resource needed on the spot.

Get TAC life support and the Munseeker mod. In combination with karbonite resource mining (for oxygen and water) these will do the trick. I edited munseeker to produce a bit more food specifically so that I could build self-sustaining bases.

USI Kolonization also adds a number of modules and stuff to help self-sustainability (for TAC LS that is)

Agreed. TACLS has had a greenhouse pending since I began playing KSP.

Sarayakat, what did u changed at the munseeker mod that it produces more .. basicly i want change the mod that 1 greenhouse supports food for 3 kerbals ... means .. if i have 3 kerbals on the duna base i want that they are feeded with 1 greenhouse .. the other resources like water and oxygen do i mine with karbonite .. i tryed to change in the part.cfg the fellowing

outputResources = Oxygen, 0.00015, false, Water, 0.0000129, false, Food, 0.001486, false

edit: now he is full with food after i made again an change ... but now the problem is when food is full, he is not using the waste products and they are filling up -.-

I love the idea behind those mods, but the biggest problem I have is with all those new parts required.

When i first started playing KSP, it took me a long time to figure out how to get all the rockets that I wanted to build into space, and then even longer to figure out to have enough fuel in them to go to the Mun or escape the Kerbin SOI. Even now some rockets I can't get off the ground, and then others get into space but can't go anywhere. Having all these extra required parts just forces me back to the drawing board. I would love it if there was a system that was built in to the stock or modded parts with out needing 'extra parts' for life support.
