Some time ago Bill Kerman opened up a snack bar at the Astronaut Complex. A recent review on Kelp.com mentioned that it had "pretty good snacks, but terrible atmosphere." Bill may not have understood exactly what that meant, but he was determined to do something about it...

The kerbal's religious pantheon (the Squad of Gods, or just Squad for short) has become greatly displeased by the hedonistic ways of the kerbals. Infinigliding, flying boxes and/or words, engine efficiency scaling with Isp, these are all mortal sins against the holy ideal of Realism, and must be punished swiftly. So Harvester, Creator Of Worlds and Slayer of Krakens, has radically altered the composition of Kerbin's atmosphere to make all those sins impossible. Legend tells us that Regex, Demigod of Complaining Useful Feedback was a major proponent of these changes.

Of course, that's just what some crazy kerbal on the street corner is yelling. I have no idea what the real cause could be!

Kerbals finally discovered that the paint they used on their rocket parts created very high drag - even when the air was simply rushing along the side of those parts ! They decided to try out a more smooth part - with astounishing results !
