There's a lot of rocket launches coming up. Starting on the 25th-

March 25/26-

1.Delta 4 • GPS 2F-9

Launch window: 1836-1854 GMT (2:36-2:54 p.m. EDT)

Launch site: SLC-37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida

A United Launch Alliance Delta 4 rocket will launch the U.S. Air Force’s ninth Block 2F navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System. The rocket will fly in the Medium+ (4,2) configuration with two solid rocket boosters. [Feb. 15]

2. Dnepr • Kompsat 3A

Launch time: 2208:46 GMT (6:08:46 p.m. EDT)

Launch site: Dombarovsky, Russia

An ISC Kosmotras Dnepr rocket will launch the Kompsat 3A high-resolution Earth observation satellite for the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. Delayed from Jan. 22 and March 12. [March 19]

3. H-2A • IGS Optical 5

(For some people, including GMT, it appears, this will be on the 26th, but it's the 25th for me)

Launch window: 0100-0300 GMT on 26th (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT on 25th)

Launch site: Tanegashima Space Center, Japan

A Japanese H-2A rocket will launch an Information Gathering Satellite with an optical reconnaissance payload for the Japanese government. [Feb. 3]

March 27-

1. Soyuz • ISS 42S

Launch time: 1942 GMT (3:42 p.m. EDT)

Launch site: Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan

A Russian government Soyuz rocket will launch the manned Soyuz spacecraft to the International Space Station with members of the next Expedition crew. The capsule will remain at the station for about six months, providing an escape pod for the crew. Moved forward from March 28. [Jan. 29]

2. Soyuz • Galileo FOC-2

Launch window: 2146:18 GMT (5:46:18 p.m. EDT)

Launch site: ELS, Sinnamary, French Guiana

An Arianespace Soyuz rocket, designated VS11, will launch on a mission from the Guiana Space Center in South America. The Soyuz will carry two Galileo full operational capability satellites for Europe’s Galileo navigation constellation. The Soyuz 2-1b (Soyuz ST-B) rocket will use a Fregat-MT upper stage. Arianespace will oversee the launch. Delayed from November, December and March 26. [March 9]

March 28-

1. 28PSLV • IRNSS 1D

Launch time: 1149 GMT (7:49 a.m. EST)

Launch site: Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota, India

India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), flying on the PSLV-C27 mission, will launch the IRNSS 1D navigation satellite. The payload is the fourth spacecraft in the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System, which aims to improve positioning services over India and neighboring regions. Delayed from December, January and March 9. [March 19]

The next confirmed launch after that is the April 10 launch of SpaceX CRS 6 on a Falcon 9. There is also a launch of a Russian earth observation satellite, but this is TBD and just happens to be around this area of the Spaceflight Now list. Plus, it is a Plesetsk launch, so it probably will not be streamed.

By the way, are Dombarovsky Dnepr launches livestreamed? If anybody wants to research that, the company that launches Dneprs is ISC Kosmotras.

Also there's a Chinese launch planned 'before the end of the month', probably on the 31st. CZ-3C with the first phase 2 Beidou sat, and new YZ-1 upper stage.

By the way, are Dombarovsky Dnepr launches livestreamed? If anybody wants to research that, the company that launches Dneprs is ISC Kosmotras.

Is the Japanese launch going to be streamed? Anybody have a link?

There won't be a livestream either for the Dnepr launch, nor for the H-2A one. However, I aksed it on Twitter a few hours ago and SpaceFlight101 said that they will post the link to an amateur livecast of the H2A launch shortly. (https://twitter.com/Spaceflight101/status/580750785459408896)

This rocket seems quite fast... Mach 1 in 48 seconds?

They have TWRs greater than 1, right? That's more than 10 m/s^2. Speed of sound is ~340.29 m/s. Assuming 10m/s^2, then it would take ~34 seconds. So, no. Not particularly fast... Except for the fact that all rockets need to go fast.
