MalfunctionM1Ke
Maximum of 300 parts. Sort of lags with that already. The poll should have a "1000+" option for "Hey! My computer can do this! How about yours?" people."Add parts till it melts down!" :D
Bill Phil
200. It lags like crazy at that point... Most of what I build is 100 or less parts.

GoSlash27
I think it depends greatly on how many of the parts are copied and pasted.Best,-Slashy
Guest
Hmm. One of my ships had 2300 parts and I didn´t have any lags.Guess 500+ is the right option for me.EDIT: 2300 is not possible ingame. I guess I read the number wrong. Thanks to Majorjim and Daze for pointing that out. Edited March 28, 2015 by Guest
Redhaze
Used to be that my 1000part 1000t space station had some trouble, but then i upgraded from intel E2200 to I5 4670k.

Deutherius
I think the question should be a little more specific. My laptop starts seriously slowing down at 250+ parts (1 second in-game takes >7 seconds IRL), but I personally have no problems launching 1000+ part lifters and using the massive amounts of free time to read a book or something. My vessels usually don't exceed 200 parts, so I'm going to assume that's what OP meant.
RocketPilot573
Starts to slightly slow down around 300-350 parts. Delta Time Slider is at 0.04. Most part's I've ever had within 2.5 Km was 1500+.
Frozen_Heart
between 400 and 500. which is fine for me as I'm quite good at keeping the part count lowish

LordFerret
I start noticing a little lag around 600+ parts. By the time I hit around 900, my frame rate is about 4fps lol.

I really thought I would have read 2300. But it´s some time ago, I think it was a memory leak:D. But it surely were many parts.I edited my post. LABHOUSE
I can tolerate 1000 parts without any lower fps, but I set my max fps to 10.I can tolerate 2 seconds per frame. My largest ship is 3000 parts, mainly struts.
