In game Change Patched Conics draw mode and Limit

Hello, I recently started replaying KSP, trying a minimal expense and fuel economy approach. Among other things, like designing small rockets and experimenting with SSTO vessels, i want to mess with gravitational assists for interplanetary travels.

For that, it is really a must increasing patched conics limit and sometimes it is easier to see the trayectory with other draw modes. But when not needed there is no reason to have limit at 4 or 5.

My suggestion is that it would be very useful to have the chance to easily change those two variables in-game, without having to restart the game. I dont know if there is already that option (never heard about it) or if it very hard to do. I understand some loading time may be needed to change.

Maybe this has already been suggested, or there is a way to do it manually without closing and restarting, just tell me!

Try PreciseNode, it includes an UI to change the conics mode, and will allow you to save much more fuel.

In the mean time, yes, he could use a mod. This is a suggestion for the stock game, though. One, in which, I very much support.

It could be merged with the career mode, needing to upgrade the observation center to allow to change them.

I strongly support being able to change both the conic patch draw mode value and the conic patch limit value easily in-game.

I use the Precise Node mod for this (and also for its main purpose of tweaking node values...AND for its frustration-reducing keyboard shortcut of pressing "o" to reopen collapsed nodes).

Basically, I just want SQUAD to incorporate all of Precise Node's functionality into the game.

Just like default throttle this should be configurable through some kind of advanced settings menu.

Eigthed. I looked all over the game and video options then realized it's a .cfg edit. Even if it's restart to apply, it needs to be in the game settings menu.

I know you weren't asking for mods and would like this in stock but your best rout is mods because squad arent going to listen to these suggestions infact they hant since .22
