Hatred of facebook

Never opened up a facebook account, save for a junk one to get a beta key for Tribes: Ascend, which I subsequently deleted. I don\'t see the appeal. I may be a bit biased though, I am admittedly pretty introverted. If I used it, it would likely end up in a situation not unlike my cellphone\'s, which has probably been out of charge for much longer than it has been in use.

The clock is ticking closer to midnight for me to delete my facebook account for the simple reason I am tired of having facebook tell me what I want to read and not display everything in chronological order. Anyone else getting tired of facebook or is it just me?

Facebook is something I put up with to keep in contact with old acquaintances, family, etc. Twitter and G+ are much less annoying. (And hilariously, Twitter often seems to be better about privacy)

Yes some people hand out answers to online homework, but a majority of the conversation on the FB page is asking for help/how-to do questions or reactions and also asking for confirmation on 'Which room is the exam in/what time' or 'Will lowest grade be dropped' etc. etc.

It\'s very useful to have an FB group for a class. It helps the students and certainly cuts back on the amount of emails we send our professors.

I wish all my classes had such FB groups.

Edit: Personally I like G+ much more, there\'s just no one I know on it. G+ feels more refined and less

But I really just use FB to make people laugh/post pictures.

KSP is still in the golden age, and I have a feeling/hope that the technicality of it will help keep out most of the whiney kids
