Website. I prefer games without cloud/internet dependencies.

Steam doesn't have that. Most of the time I don't even use the Steam launcher, and KSP on Steam has as much DRM as that on the website (none at all). The only differences are auto-updates, which can be mitigated by making a copy of KSP somewhere other than in its Steam folder, and the option to use the Steam overlay or chat/friend services.
