Translation of the game to other languages

Can the game be translated to other languages ? For example, i'm in the tutorial about orbiting the moon and i don't understand why and how apoapsis and periapsis work for getting to the moon orbit. So a different translation in my language or the other people respective languages will help. I cannot remember in english language elements from the game.

I agree. If such a great game like KSP release it's 1.0 that should be translated into several languages.

Funny thing is here, those ain't English words~ That's all Greek stuff..literally. A lot of science jargon is ancient Greek or Latin or whatnot, and sounds weird even to native English speakers at first

That being said, it's probably too late to localize it for 1.0. That'd have to be 1.1 or 1.2 or such, unless Squad's been secretly working on it already without telling us.

The game may eventually have versions in other languages, but that is far down the road. The thing is, while it's still in development, they'd have to revise all the alternative versions every time anything was revised, and that's far too much work and would slow development way down.

Unless I'm greatly mistaken, there is already a mod which has several full translations of the game.

Unsure if that's the correct link, I thought there was a forum thread...oh well.
