Can't place radial air intakes, sph and vab lag with regular air intakes

Any type of radial air intake I try to place will not place and it locks the game up, I can't press any buttons or place any parts once it locks up and I have to restart because

The only thing I can do

Is move the camera, does anyone know a fix to this?

edit: also whenever I place a regular air intake it causes extreme lag

edit 2: alright so from what I have gathered it actually has something to do with kspinterstellar, does anyone know a work around?

Ita a bug with older versions of KSPI and Tweakscale. Use the newest versions of both to avoid this issue.
