I wasn't sure where to ask this because at this particular point I'm not sure if its a bug or if I'm doing something wrong when constructing my ships, but my ships, especially if they start to get larger have a nasty habit of just having pieces fall off at seemingly random points or just entirely disintegrating all at once. This seems to happen regardless of whether I'm using vanilla or mods and I cant pinpoint anything that might be causing it, could be anything from coming out of time warp, separating stages, and has even happened multiple times just for no reason whatsoever. Sometimes it will happen with no warning at all, sometimes it will be proceeded by the ship beginning to shake for no reason until it shakes itself apart, quick saving has become essential for me as I can pretty much expect this problem to happen to me multiple times anytime I try to launch anything more complex than a tiny probe. A couple things to note is that I do use auto strut a lot, and have tried even mitigating the problem by using normal struts here and there in combination with auto strut to no avail, it also seems not to discriminate between ships where ive clipped parts and ships where ive clipped none it it will happen either way. Does anyone know a way I can stop this from happening to my ships, if I'm doing something wrong thats causing this to happen or if its a bug? I've done research into it but cant find anything.

0.16, i didnt really get obssessed with it until around 0.18 though when they started really shaping the game into what it is today. back when i first started playing i was really into astronomy but not really aerospace engineering/orbital mechanics, ksp changed that for me forever, ksp is my everything.

how did you get it to balance out without a tail assembly? ive been trying to recreate the raven all day yesterday and today, and i cannot get it to work without a set of tails to stabilise the damn thing, it just drifts off to the right or to the left and completely stalls out- 6 replies

im getting this really annoying glitch that seems to happen to every single ship that i build as of late, after a certain amount of time in flight it begins to spin rapidly in one direction and doesnt stop no matter what i do, turning on sas causes the spinning to stop but i cant turn in any direction but the direction the ship was uncontrollably spinning in. this has happened to the last 4 ships that i have built regardless of whether i had clipped parts or not, my controller also has no deadzone or joystick issues. does anybody know a way to fix this problem?

look how long squad went without charging us for dlc, games dont need constant dlc to make sales they just need to be good, then they will continue to sell, to date ive gifted like 20 of my friends kerbal space program, thats 20 copies sold right there

i said it felt like it, not that it is, take two seems to like to gain the rights for games then basically give the middle finger to its players. you saw what happened with open 4 and gta 5 or all the community made multiplayer plugins for gta 5 that got shut down because take 2 likes to fire cease and desist's everywhere. when i say hostile takeover i mean of the ksp community and not the company of squad itself, were the ones that are going to suffer at take two's heel

they probably had no choice, like i said this feels like a hostile takeover. they themselves appeared not to be able to continue making the game due to a lack of financial stability to due so, as much as you want to think they sold out like you said, they need to pay the bills still, all im saying is its gonna suck to see them gone and that i have a feeling take 2 will ruin the game, squad cared about us but they also need to survive

I completely agree with what you're saying, this game is extremely important to me on a very personal level. I want it to continue being that one indie game that the developers pulled out all the stops on for the sake of making a good game, not making money. I'm extremely worried about what take 2 is about to do to the game especially after seeing them threaten multiple GTA mod makers with lawsuits and completely ban singleplayer mods on GTA 5 (or try to anyway, the community fixed that one lmao). GTA is a completely monetized game with paid microtransactions [snip] (it can cost 20 bucks for a god damn car Darn it, more than that for even higher end cars), they could turn around and do the same thing to ksp cause after all they want to turn a profit. paid DLC, threatening mod makers with lawsuits, officially removing support for mods, microtransactions, the simplifying of the game to appeal to a wider fanbase etc. I think it's repurposed bovine waste and I wish take two would back off cause from the eyes of the community at least in my opinion, it feels like a hostile takeover more than anything. take 2 has made it extremely apparent they dont care about their players and only money, squad cared about us, and cared about delivering an amazing game for us.

ive actually found out that if i ran the 64 bit version of the game it was fine, so when i release it i guess ill just let people know to use the 64 bit version of the game -

hey man, im having this exact same error, its spamming in the map view on my new planet pack, please tell me how you managed to fix it ive been stuck with it for 3 days and i cant get an answer from anyone -

ive been having an issue where every planet i add to the game creates a "nullreferencepoint" error whenever i enter map view when im using a vessel, anyone know how this is fixed that error flooding the console every time i enter map view is causing a tremendous amount of lag -
hi, im having a small issue with one of my planets in kopernicus, aside from this error its perfect, basically whats happening is when i go to land on the surface, i land fine, but the game still thinks im flying above the planet for some reason, and so i cant go back to the space center, and i cant eva because the game thinks my kerbal is falling, anyone know a way to fix this?

hi again, im having an issue with one of my planets where i can land but i cant eva and walk around, my kerbal falls on his side and cant move, when i use the jetpack i can get him to wobble around a whole bunch but thats about it another thing, while im on the surface any ship i land there gets classed as "in flight", and so i cant return to the space center

sorry to bother you again but i have one more question, my planets textures and everything else are working great now, but i get this annoying error when i go into map view that says "null reference exception: object reference not set to an instance of an object" ive seen posts saying its related to not having modular flight integrator but it comes packaged with kopernicus 1.2 now unless ive missed something
