i try to decelerate with it, and after a little bit, my ship would just explode for no reason whatsoever, and i would get a message saying that "aestus II collided with (insert fuel tank name here), this always happens, there was no tank collision, it was fine up until the random explosion edit: never mind ive uninstalled realism overhaul, theres too many bugs right now, ill play with f.a.r and kw rocketry for now, it hell krakened my game then crashed it

They just end up as these weird black spheres, and oftentimes destroy my vehicles on contact

Console resource transfer?
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thank you thank you thank you, that's it, I had to pin it up, they need to explain that better in ksp-pedia, I'm gonna make a video about it on my channel to help people be more aware, I'll make sure to mention you in it -
Console resource transfer?
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
But how do I select multiple context menus? -
Anyone know if there's a control for resource transfer on consoles, I've looked at all the control menus and can't find anything, I can replace that function with fuel ducts for now but I'm constructing a space station and will need to know how to resource transfer once it's finished

Planes always fishtail

Seeing replies like this helps calm my nerves though, because it means I'm not the only one having an issue with the new gear -
Planes always fishtail
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I've tried that, and also to elaborate on what someone else said, we shouldn't have to change our planes, and on a side note, even with the smallest and simplest of planes the game does this, even the stock planes do this This is a nice workaround, thanks, hopefully when 1.2 comes we won't have to find workarounds -
Landing gear is screwed up
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (Console)
Oh thank god it's being worked on, it is oh so annoying -
I don't even touch the controls and the plane veers all over the place, the landing gear is perfectly aligned, I have steering and automatic friction disabled, I even put struts between the gears but I cannot even with the smallest planes keep the aircraft on the runway I beleive this is a bug edit: letting all my planes just sit on the runway has resulted in the same thing, the vehicle immediately turns hard to the right, without me even touching the controls, everything is perfectly symmetrical

What the heck did they do to wheels, no matter what I do my planes will fishtail as I pick up speed, spin out, and crash, this was a really unnecessary change to wheels and makes building aircraft near impossible I never had this problem before 1.1 and I can't be the only one having this problem, wheels are way too unstable right now and need to be reverted, landing gear doesn't work like this in real life, my gear is perfectly straight with no problems I can see, it's getting a bit ridiculous that I cannot even design a simple plane without it flipping on high friction settings or spinning out on pow friction settings

Bugs I've encountered on ps4 so far
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (Console)
I miss my mouse and keyboard too, and yeah me too, but with this plane thing it's kind of impossible, it's damn near impossible to keep a plane straight on the runway -
Bugs I've encountered on ps4 so far
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (Console)
No, it was stuck like that until the eventual crash, I've also noticed my planes uncontrollably fishtailing and spinning out, even with sas, as if the landing gear has been greased with oil, it's really annoying and making planes impossible to make -
Bugs I've encountered on ps4 so far
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (Console)
no, i know about that, sometimes after you get out of the sas menu, your ship goes limp, and any control inputs dont work, i tried activating and disabling the cursor -
1. A complete loss of control upon takeoff, unable to do anything 2. Landing gear appears to be using low friction tires now, as I cannot takeoff without sliding all over the place 3. There's no fine controls button got any others, post em here

i was just wondering if planetary biome maps were absolutely necessary for creating planets in the kopernicus mod, i am trying to create a planet for the game, my program of choice for this is blender, so i can make my map, my normal map, and my height map for sure, but i dont know about the biome map, if a biome map is needed can someone point me to a program where its possible to make one?

i just put the diagram to practice, it worked well edit: never mind, as a reminder to everyone, you are most definitely not in a safe orbit 4 kilometres from the mun -
gravity assists are making my head hurt
noobsrtoast replied to noobsrtoast's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
ah so its a bit like learning to snipe in battlefield, thats a great way of putting it, as a side note i am in the process of teaching myself the math, i decided to take it on so that i could calculate these things accurately one day, i practice for about an hour every day i dont think that diagram is pathetic, ill definitely use this, thank you -
