though i like your thinking on how to reduce lag and part count, i think im just gonna wait till i get my better pc and then there will be less lag, my processor is pretty crappy right now and doesn't handle mods well at all, but that's going to change soon

everyone knows about the compressed air in firespitter, but I figure I better make sure people know what im talking about first so, this is the compressed air in firespitter I know it can be used to run jet and propeller engines for a short time but I have some questions about it has anyone ever tried to use them on another planet?, can it work or does something happen to the air tanks? if so, is there a mod that allows you to produce oxygen which can in turn be used to create intake air without having to install any realistic life support mods? can compressed air be exploited to run jet engines in space? (obviously this is not how it works in real life, so what im asking is in the game, will jet engines produce thrust in space running on compressed air?)

ill have a look, but im using b9 aerospace parts, which If i read the op right they are supported right?,also it doesn't just happen with b9 parts, it happens with all stock parts too, whenever i try to grab a subassembly and attach it

im having a small issue, whenever I rescale a part, the attachment point for the part when it was its original size remains, so whenever I try to attach it to something it doesn't actually attach properly, its hella annoying is there a way I can fix this?

ill get straight to the point does star systems work for ksp 0.90 or will I have to go and find another mod that adds more stars and how does the planet factory ce mod work with star systems, can someone please give me a general run down of how the process of adding planets to the other stars works, and maybe a few suggestions about what planet packs to look out for?

holy ...., mind if I ask what mods you are using to make your gamedata folder look like that, im actually trying to go for a mod build that makes ksp feel as alive as possible, though I know I cant have every mod, I want to at least have some of the best ones, especially ones that add a lot of cool parts, i guess i cant really make up my mind about what mods i want since i have a 3gb limit, but i am really trying to dig and look around for different mods, really any that i think will add anything cool to the game

I got it working, trying to sort out an annoying bug with intakes right now but I got it working

Any type of radial air intake I try to place will not place and it locks the game up, I can't press any buttons or place any parts once it locks up and I have to restart because The only thing I can do Is move the camera, does anyone know a fix to this? edit: also whenever I place a regular air intake it causes extreme lag edit 2: alright so from what I have gathered it actually has something to do with kspinterstellar, does anyone know a work around? edit: fixed :/

im having a small problem with b9 aerospace and firespitter parts, when I place them, the firespitter fuel tanks I cant switch between tank types, and the b9 tanks I cant switch between tank types and some of the parts appear to be 2 in 1, does anyone know what causes these bugs, I really want to be able to have b9 aerospace parts and firespitter parts on my mod list

hey guys, I haven't played in a very very very long time, my computers been broken for over 6 and a half months now, I finally got it fixed yesterday, now all my favorite mods are out of date and I need ones that are up to date or supported with the current version of ksp, so im asking you guys what are some good mods?, to give you an idea of what kind I like ill list my favorite type of mods any mods that can add planets (or star systems if that's possible) any mods that add a large degree of realism to the game, i.e more realistic atmosphere dynamics like, and more realistic packs for example I had one really cool one that did an animation and made a sound for every time you broke the sound barrier in the atmosphere, and it would cut the sound off when you did or when you left the atmosphere, I also like mods that add more interactions with mission control\tower control any mods that add new aircraft and rocket parts (kw rocketry and b9 aerospace are obvious ones, but I would love to know about more) any mods that add resource gathering to the game, similar to what kethane did any mods that allow kerbals to do more things than just walk around on planets any mods that can add more activity on kerbins surface, one that added other civilian air traffic would be super cool if that's possible a stable multiplayer mod any mods that add more parts for rovers or probes or anything else really any mods that add more functionality to spacecraft, i.e more interaction with different parts if you think of any I might want outside these categories please say so, I will be checking everyone's replies and trying out all the different mods, if you made a mod or discovered a mod that has gone under the radar, tell me about it!! so everyone knows about the star systems mod by now right?, well heres my challenge, in that mod take some krags planet factory planets or something and put them around the other stars, then i challenge you, to build a ship that will get you to both stars, onto at least 1 planet in each system, with only 2 detachable (and redockable) components, and ALL STOCK MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, not only that but you have to return back to kerbin with at least a 2 part chunk of ship remaining(hello, scott manley, are you there?). have fun TLDR: build a stock ship that can make it to 2 stars and onto one planet in each starsystem, then return home in a lander stage or bigger

i have seen extraplanetary launchpads, and no that is not what i was looking for, im looking for a mod that adds the ability to mine a bunch of different types of metal ores, which can then be used to build structural parts and utilities, which the kerbals or some sort of machinery can then use to build bases on other planets. it would add a new challenge to the game, as well as taking away a few of the more challenging aspects like having to put that massive ass base on the front of your ship in order to actually have one. if you ask me it would be incredibly useful when you have things like ferram aerospace and starsystems/krags installed on your game, not having to carry all of that stuff on your rocket, but rather just collect it when you get there.
