Jeb in Super Smash Bros!

Recommended Posts

I was going to vote until I hit this question:

https://cp.nintendo.co.jp/img/us/form/item_reason.gif

He went mad because of the NaNo virus.

UPDATE:

I just listed these as reasons:

Because:

- He fears nothing

- He is a badass

- He can survive things that would be fatal to other characters. Examples include close passes by the sun, orbital reentry, landing (crashing) after said orbital reentry, all of this without requiring food, oxygen, temperature control, or even a space worthy vehicle, or any vehicle at all for that matter.

- He is #BADA55 (I am of course refering to the color of his skin)

Note: Would it work if I pulled the race-card towards Nintendo? "Because the Smash Bros cast is predominantly white, while Jeb is green"

On a related note: I haven't played the most recent one. But I used to play the gamecube version a lot. I can already picture job turning on his shield - The way Yoshi turns into an egg, Jeb turns into the starter pod. Special ability: The way Saemus drops bombs, Jeb calls down a spent booster stage. Grapple: Looks like he's climbing a ladder.

As long as jeb doesn't actually hit anyone, i'm fine with it. Kerbals are non-violent characters; seeing jeb throw a punch at another person wouldn't feel kerbal.

Now, if Jeb was some type of "rocket-summoner" i'd be fine with it. Non-violent kerbals please.

You do realise he will NEVER be in Smash Bros? Yeah, while the idea is cool, Nintendo are only gonna add a 3rd party Character; KSP isn't available for any console, let alone a Nintendo one...

Sorry guys, but my vote is going for Rayman, Wolf, an Inkling or a character that actually has a chance...

Somehow I can't imagine Kebals actually participating in fisticuffs, it seems they'd be more likely to write long scientific treatises demonstrating mathematically how much they would destroy their opponents rather than actually doing it.

I'm not a fan of this idea. Kerbals are scientist and explorers who go to space for the spirit of it. Sure they're fearless and have little self preservation, but they're not fighters, They're not called to action to stop some threat, or are the threat themselves. Sure that doesn't fit everyone in the roster, but they're still Nintendo and belong in that sense. If Jeb were to be in SSB, my reaction would be something along the lines of, "WHAT THE EFF, WHY THE HELL IS HE HERE!?" Both these games are too dear to me and I don't think Jeb needs to be in SSB. Besides, I imagine his fighting style would just be a clone of the Villager.

Lol, when they say "Non-Nintendo" characters, they still mean games on their consoles, just 3rd party games. Jedediah won't make it unless there is a KSP for Wii U in the works I don't know about.

As far as I know, Sonic the Hedgehog was never released for Nintendo, seeing as he's Sega's big mascot.

I think Jeb fighting could be done in a very Kerbal way: Firing rockets at his opponent, special moves that end with them strapped to boosters and launched, firing himself at his opponent on a booster, the KLAW descends from the sky to grab them, Kraken summoning...

So, Goku is possible? He was on a few consoles...

Gamecube, Wii and Wii U have sonic titles (handhelds might too). They have been partnered with Nintendo almost exclusively (they do PC too) since they stopped making consoles.

Possibly. I voted for Spyro the Dragon. He might have started on Playstation but he's been on the Gamecube and Wii, he already has all the moves needed, and plus he fits in with the Nintendo "style" (which is more than you can say for Solid Snake).
