Columbia
Although I am not a dev myself, I don't think they plan to add that feature, unfortunately (I want it myself too).Despite the interacting-like interiors, they never mentioned anything about adding it. Guest
I doubt it. IVAs in KSP exist only to provide a backdrop for the Kerbal faces in the lower right and to provide you with a radar altimeter. Other than that they're pretty much completely useless.
Twreed87
I always thought something like that was coming, but haven't heard anything on it in forever. I always figured with the name IVA (Intra-Vehicular Activity) there would be some, you know, activities to do.I'd kinda like a whole update devoted to life in space. Life support, inflatable habitat modules, etc.

Kerbart
good luck coding for that. That reminds me of the classic coders joke/sad reality. Rookie coder writes a routiine for a shopping cart, storing the items in a fixed sized array for a maximum of 10 items. “But what if someone wants to order eleven items?†The next day he returns with his updated code: the array is now sized for a maximum of 11 items.Show this example and someone will write code to make it work. For this specific example.
Vanamonde
This was discussed a long time ago, but hasn't been mentioned since, so we don't know the status of the idea. However, it has been discussed so much that more/better IVAs has been placed on our list of things not to suggest again, to help keep forum discussions moving along fresh and productive lines. For that reason, this thread will be closed now.
