Created in response to the ROUND-8 Xenon Re-purposing Fiasco. Download and support the motion to save the ROUND-8!

Features:

The ROUND-9 "Xenut" Xenon Fuel Cell. 1600 Xenon-unit capacity. And a silver-gray-white texture.
It's the stock ROUND-8 retextured to look like a xenon tank. There. I said it.

Support the ROUND-8!

Oh, and if it is against the rules (They say "Outside of GameData", but I want to be sure), let me know, or take action, mods. We don't want this protest to violate the Community rules.

The reason this mod is public domain is to make a point that I, and many others, will go to any measure (within reason) to keep the ROUND-8 tank in the game, including "developing" the parts ourselves. If the need arises, I'm sure someone here, including me, can make a great new part to take the place of the "new" ROUND-8.

And if it comes to it, I will create a mod to add the ROUND-8 back into the game, so that old crafts will still work. (It will be the same old part. The new one will become this one, or a better model if I make one.)

It would be nice if it were the same grey and yellow scheme of the other Xenon tanks. Like the inner texture of the PB-X150 and the yellow for the bands around it. My 2cents anyway.

By the way, if you did do this, the white one could be LF only or Monoprop. So it wouldn't be a total loss. (I think Monoprop, it would look awesome with the O-10's)

Yay! While the repurposing of this tank didn't bother me much, I love the idea of having a bunch of different versions of it. Will download prior to next play session.

Does anyone have a set of quick instructions on how to go about editing the textures for this?

I would imagine it wouldn't have to be; pure part mods normally don't have to be updated, unless the configuration format changes.

But it would be nice to have a full Toroidal Expansion pack. Xenon, Monoprop, and maybe Liquid Fuel (not sure if that last one would be useful, trying to think how I would use it and I'm coming up short on ideas)

C'mon, we can do better than that!

TBH I almost didn't download, just because it's on Dropbox. I know many mod developers have reason not to use KerbalStuff, GitHub, Curse, etc. but I prefer using CKAN as much as possible, and save manual installation for those rare mods that are too useful to go without, CKAN or no.
