I like to sometimes send up multiple ships at same time, if shes a pilot i would probably use her to crew the second ship. For some reason , thought of chipmunks and chipettes came to mind.

I have never done a manned (Kerballed?) landing on Eve.... just wasn't confident in the ability to get back up. Valentina will be the first Kerbal to land on Eve in my game. We'll get her back up too.

As of getting the news that there are indeed female Kerbals (and they want to go to space just as much as the boys), Kerbfleet no longer operates 'manned' craft. Our ships are either 'crewed' or 'uncrewed'.

I kind of expect Valentina to be an engineer and engineers to have a cool new ability (who knows, detaching / attaching parts? Strutting things up a bit while on the mun?). That would make Jeb & Val an awesome maniacal duo.

As I guess that Valentina will have a special status like Jeb, Bill and Bob, I will take care of her as I would do with those three ...

that is, see her less as a redshirt than other Kerbonauts

She's gonna bump Jeb out of all the prime "famous hero space traveler" missions and leave him with the part-testing contracts. Heh. (Serves him right, after what he's put the "second wave" pilots through in previous releases...)
