Question about the #2 key while building stuff.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

You know when you're creating a rocket or aircraft and you hit the #2?

It brings up those little XYZ arrows so you can click them and move object in just a single plane of movement.

So here is the question.

Sometimes I see people streaming KSP and they hit some key or something that I cant see.

Instead of the XYZ arrows being at exactly 90 degree angles, they will rotate to match up with the objects angle.

So if an object is placed at a slight angle like a control surface, on the back of a wing. The XYZ arrows will match up with

said objects angle of placement. This makes it easier to manipulate the object in relation to what its connected to.

Does anyone know how to activate this mode?

I tried the ALT key, but no joy.

Thanks in advance.

I know about angle snap. I know how to turn that on and off. thank you.

But im talking about something a little different.

Im talking about the three angle arrows being offset or off angle. To match the part.

But I will try what you said. "C" key. I will click it and see what happens. Thanks again.
