First you need some basic knowledge Of how img works:

You do [img ]insert imgur link here[ /IMG] and your done!

For gifs it is the same. You need to make something into a gif and host it on a site (eg imgur) then cope its link and you will have a gif!

You can also use:

Gifsoup

Gfycat

And others! (Dont use shady ones though...)
