Master Thread: Cannot Activate While Stowed!

This is a massive SQUAD issue, one in which they have refused to acknowledge how big the problem really is, or attempted to fix it. Leaving 3rd party attempts. I believe NathanKell did some work with RealFuels and I also think Claw did some work with his Stock Bug Fix mod.

I'd put money that it will. "Small" bugs like this can persist for quite a while. They did do *some* work on it, but still left a lot to be desired.

So, I had a look for this issue on the bug tracker today, because I'd like to present it to the developers, but it isn't there.

If you want this changed you have to make a bug report on the tracker, as the support forum is not for bugs, this issue will not be addressed if the only information is a forum thread.

So one of you better get a move on.

I don't know if this is part of the bug or a weird design decision, but when an action group contains both activation of a stowed part and an opening of the part stowing it, you still get an error message saying it's stowed.

Example. You make an action group containing both activation of an antenna and open the cargo bay it's in. This should not give a part is stowed message, really.

Still an issue - stock fairing or procedural fairing, radial heat radiators or solar panels.

Either all of them are stowed or at a 6 x radial setup 4 are working and 2 opposite ones are stowed.
Sometimes only one of 6 or one of 4 is stowed.
The same vessel, launched 3 times, different behavior of what is stowed and what is not - so no possible workaround but just using no fairing ...

Stoill an issue running ksp 1.2.1- solar panels and antennas mounted on a rover.  If it helps I found out that when they don't extend, I get the message surface mounted (non deployable) solar panels report that they are not charging "blocked by aerodynamic shield" when there is none present. when they work they both work
