Tourist wants suboribal flight around the sun

Does this mean what I think it means? Like 24k delta-V to get into a collision course into the sun and then speed back and land on kerbin again. It just seems a bit extreme to get into a suborbital course on the sun.

You don't need to crash. As soon as you lower the Pe under the surface you've achieved suborbital, and you'll still be at apoapsis, so, just turn around and burn prograde to save the poor moron.
