Payloads (Satellites & Landers)

Recommended Posts

I've been playing KSP for over a year, but have yet to find a solid tutorial for adding Satellites and Landers to lift rockets, etc... How the heck do I inset a satellite or lander (payload) into an existing rocket? I don't understand why it's so hard to find this info when searching.

Thank you!!!

It's mostly intuitive, as you attach it just like another stage. Stick a stack decoupler (or a seperator, if you are sticking it on top another payload) to the bottom of your payload, then attach all other stages under that decoupler.

Thank you Red, I'll try the decoupler, just think there should be a guide for this.

Shpaget, that was very helpful (sarcasm). How about how to add a prebuilt satellite or lander to the subassemblies, then how to add that using a decoupler or separator (or a link). But I appreciate the reply.
