so, apparently KSP doesn't like it when you use strange characters to name your ships.

I tried Onwards + upwards = ? mk1, but instead of a questionmark, i got a giant É

try it! :)

+1 Until I started playing KSP I did not know that there were such a thing as lower case NUMBERS! Please find some time to fix the incredibly small numbers in the craft name edit fields. I prefer to see KSAT 1 instead of KSAT 1.

Well, the Romans didn't have lowercase letters (or U.. or W I think?) - this is just the natural evolution. Soon there will be a lowercase version of punctuation. Er, oops, meant to put a lowercase period there~

+1 to the size of the numbers issue.

The problem with your ship's name is not really a bug, but a design decision. The name of your ship is used as the name of the file the ship is saved to. Operating systems have some characters they won't allow to be used as file names because they have other uses. ? is one of them along with * and / and \ and many others. I guess the game does some conversion somehow? Otherwise it would just fail to save your ship.

Now to the important stuff: come up with a name that WILL break the game when you try to save the ship.
