"infinite" symmetry mode

i have already seen this done before in 0.18 but could not find anything up to date on that topic.

For example one can radially attach 50+ boosters at once. Pretty much anything is possible:

Well i made a little how-to video for everyone to remember this nice building feature:

There are some examples at minute 3:00.

Im playing version 1.02 with no mods (steam client).

Be aware that you probably shouldn't do this kind of stuff so i recommend testing inside a safe sandbox game.

What do you think about this bug (feature?), does it even work for you?

I stumbled on to a way to do this unlike the way you are showing. Lets just say I had to quarantine the craft. Luckily I had a quicksave of my hard mode 0.90 career because the craft had infected my ship assembly station. At first I couldn't figure out what was going on... The station would de orbit and crash with my recovery pods... Second try my pods would keep getting thrust from the engines without animation or fuel consumption and with zero throttle, burning and burning until it would escape kerbin after I had first set up a suborbital...

Luckily I figured out the pods were causing the issue so once I undocked the original module it could be pushed into suborbital with a tug...

There's a Kracken in there to be harvested but damn if it would be in my career save!!! I named the ship with tag (quarantine).

Be careful with your symmetry...

PS: Don't judge me haters for quicksaving my hard mode... do you like losing a multi-day mission and half your funds to the NAnan Kracken??? I thought not.

Yeah i can second that, would never try such things in a live game.

Also i have to say there is actually no need for 50x symmetry. I barely use 6x in my career games but everything is possible in sandbox mode.
