I'm sorry but I'm really pissed off. I've been fighting all week to get the damn new version downloaded. I try downloading the zip files but the download crashes after 400MB. I know most of the problem is because I have a US Cellular 4G router and they do weird stuff with downloads. I can usually fix most downloads when they stall by pausing and resuming but these Kerbal zipfiles cause errors and it doesn't work. I emailed support and asked them to break the download into smaller chunks but I got no response. I finally get the Windows Installer to download, but it installs this stupid launcher and there is no way to turn it off and stop it from connecting to the internet. That advanced checkbox does nothing but automatically push the 'Play' button. I have a limit of 6gig and I do not want to connect the internet every time I run this program. Yes a US Cellular 4G router sucks but you're a bunch of snobs who think the whole world has unlimited broadband and you can suck on our bandwidth whenever you feel like.

I had this problem for 0.90.0, it would constantly stop just short of the 500 or so megabytes it required.

If your connection is interrupted for a moment, you get a corrupted download. Hold off until you are sure your connection is stable.

And as Ethanadams says, it can be the store. I was having a ton of trouble with the patcher, in fact, I never got it to work.

Download 2 mb then stop don't download at all.

some time if it downloads all the way when 0.5 mb left it says it stopped the download because it might be dangerous even when I say it's okay to download it refuses tried on internet explorer fire fox and Chrome

Maybe try and 'cycle' the router (also modem/dsl/cable box). That is: turn the unit off, disconnect all inbound and outbound cables, power unit back on - let it sit and cycle and blink its lights a bit, turn the unit back off, plug the wires back in, turn the unit back on and give it a go.

dsl modems and cable boxes and routers and such all have memory caches as a part of the circuitry/design, and they can clutter up with lost/hung-up instructions and operands. cycling the units cause the cache to clear.

WPS is your 'wifi protected-setup'. Many wireless routers provide an option where, when connecting for the first time, you push that button so your device can see and connect automatically to the router.

Cycling the equipment would take all of 5 minutes... surely you can live without phone and cable the duration.

Don't even bother with the patcher. It never worked, even in the old days; I can remember when they told everybody never to use the patcher. I only ever tried to use it once, back in .15 I think, and it quit within seconds of starting.

Just some friendly advice: this is a pretty terrible way of getting people to help you. Even if you are frustrated it really is not in your own best interest to take it out on the very people you rely on for help.

My 2 cents would be trying to use software that allows for intermittent downloading (i.e. download managers) and just trying to download KSP somewhere else. I understand the latter is not an option everywhere, but arranging something typically is possible.

Can you contact your internet service provider with the issue? I find that they are usually the ones behind any shenanigans and your download will mysteriously work again a few hours after a call.
