Isn't there some RAM management mod?

I read somewhere about a mod that lets you get more out of your RAM by compressing textures or something like that. I don't recall the name. Anyone know? I'm finally getting to mid-game and noticing some RAM issues with my Windows KSP. Also, is it any good?

Also you can convert the textures to a compressed dds format with Lilleman's DDS converter.

Thanks! Any advice? I'm not particularly good with computers. If there is a way to screw things up with these mods, I prolly will.

No, ATM doesn't change the mods, it just creates a cache of packed textures inside its own directory. If you delete the cache catalog, it recreates it again. Sometimes its useful to refresh the cache.

Currently many mods are (being) converted to dds format by their authors. ATM ignores dds textures as they are already packed.
