Tracking Vessels and other objects.

Why are debris, rovers, satellites and other objects not able to de/select for highlight from the map view. The only way is to go to the tracking centre. Could a button to directly go to the tracking be a possibility? Currently the only route is to return to KSC and then visit the tracking centre.

Maybe this should be a suggestion but I can recall before 0.90 this vessel highlight issue was not the case.

It should work in the map, but I have noticed it won't if you're using a vessel that doesn't currently have control such as debris or a dead probe.

This problem happens with kerbaled command modules. No ability to select or deselect any vessels from the tracking widget.

Just finished doing a quick test and a untouched version 1.0.2.842 was used, started a sandbox and put the space station core (you can change the vessel type to a station or anything else it doesn't seem to make a difference) on the launch pad and the stearwing on the runway. From the station or the stearwing go to the map view and the tracking vessel widget is locked out. The tracking centre only allows theses vessels to be un/highlighted.

Do vessels have to leave the launchpad or runway in order for this widget to unlock?

This tracking vessel widget issue is not game breaking because sometimes this widget does not work and a workaround is to visit the tracking centre, it is just a mystery.

I found this is a bug where if the Navball is hidden, you cannot use that widget. Pull out the navball and you can use it.

So mystery solved the navball locks down the tracking widget. Thanks

And here I was thinking it had something to do with the line

and a new upcoming button.
